I joined a new credit union for my Bronco loan, GEFCU, had to become a friend of the library for $15 to be eligible.
I initially financed 100% with Ford to walk out of the dealership, then refinanced at the new credit union. 7.9% with Ford, 4.29% at GEFCU. My regular credit union is 5.59%...
I have purchased two vehicles out of state and had them shipped. I am in Texas and one came from California and one from Colorado. I had to pay shipping from those dealerships to Texas. Ballpark cost is about $1 per mile for an open trailer
I updated again! So two updates in one week. First to 3.5.2 and now 3.5.3, so I am guessing that there is a series of updates that have to happen and not just one big major update.
Jltexas is awesome. We (mostly Jon), got them put on my Wildtrak and they fit and look great
So for anybody wondering if they will fit a Wildtrak, they absolutely do.
Started the journey 7/14/2020, picked it up yesterday 2/25/2023. First Bronco that I have ever sat in, and driven. My wife and I started laughing as we drove off the lot thinking how much we just spent on a vehicle that we never even test drove.
It is huge.
So after lots of hate and anger, out of the blue, Leif Johnson Ford apologized and set my Raptor price back to MSRP. I will be picking it up this week when I get some time.
I went over to look at it yesterday, since I had never seen one in person. All I can say is that pictures do not do...
Saw my code orange raptor for the first time yesterday. Here it is next to a red Wildtrak. It is way more orange in person. An absolutely gorgeous color for this vehicle.
It is also much bigger than the Wildtrak.
For what is is worth, by Raptor order date was originally for 3/2022. This was a golden ticket conversion. it was not built in 2022 and was converted to a 2023 in 9/22.
It was originally scheduled for production the week of 12/6/22, then 1/6/23, then 1/16/23, then it was actually built the...
My Raptor got bumped a few times in 2022 and a few times already in 2023, but I just got an email today saying that it is in route to the dealership. Now I have to deal with the dealership and their $15k ADM that they want me to pay on a first day reservation that was upgraded to a Raptor.
The dealership that wants me to pay $15K over MSRP for my raptor, (that evolved from a first day reservation, and that is "in production)", has two broncos on their lot for MSRP. Don't know what that means for me though.
I have a family member that runs multiple ford dealerships outside of...
My Raptor build got pushed back to early January. I still need to sit down with the dealership since they still want $15k over MSRP, after waiting 2 1/2 years to get my Bronco, and only sprung that after my order converted to a Raptor. Ford said to talk to the "owner" of the dealership then...
Seems like a reasonable question. My guess is that it would force Ford to actively take my side on this transaction rather than just tell me that they will hold this against the dealership without any real verifiable penalty. Reducing future allocations doesn't seem like a big threat to a...
I have one on order that just pushed to 2023. My dealer decided to add a $25k markup over MSRP (reduced to $15k) after waiting 2+ years for my Bronco. They intend to sell the Raptors for $150K+ (they told me this), so they are pushing the people who got lucky with a golden ticket into forcing...
They know that they only have the allocation because of my reservation/order. They don't care.
Right now, dealers hold all the cards, so some dealers will use this as an opportunity to grab as much cash as they can expecting the buyers to forgive and forget once the market returns to normal...
I thought that I did my due diligence with the dealer, Leif Johnson Ford in Austin, Texas. From what I read on the forums, they had not charged anybody ADM on their Bronco deliveries, until my Raptor golden ticket came along. They initially wanted $25k over, but now it is down to $15k over...
