Thanks! I've had a couple of them. Slow as hell but really fun to toss around on some curvy backroads. Beating on this car provides some good therapy after a crappy workday 😆
Here's a height comparison vs Bronco - LOL
Still a work in progress, but it has come a long way!
My favorite part is having a wall mounted car wash setup with a pressure washer mounted on a stainless steel shelf, and 75' of thick no-kink hose on a nice Cox reel. Just hit the power button and go! Makes cleanup after camping or...
The double edge fits really well against the window and seals up against the rubber seals pretty well. The gutter guard I used isn't a totally flat surface, so gluing the screen material to it was a bit tricky, but not bad.
Took the idea from @The_Axeman and made a window vent for sleeping in the Bronco. Total cost about $20 for a section of gutter guard, paint, super glue, and a roll of mesh screen. 👌
Also ordered the @deepsleep Overland leveling mat so I can lower the seats and have a level surface for my...
Small project this weekend to prepare for sleeping in the Bronco over Memorial Day Weekend.
Threw together a window vent to provide some air flow while also keeping the bugs out. A section of gutter guard and some window screen material, super glue, and black paint. All in for around $20...
I know the feeling. I was packed pretty full for my trip, and realized after unpacking that my gear rubbed away a quarter-sized section of the window tint on my rear glass. 🤦♂️
Oh well! 🤷♂️
I've considered a roof basket or the American Adventure Labs system that straps to the spare tire.
When the zombie apocalypse happens, I want the most luxurious end of the world rig possible. OBX Squatch w/ Lux = beautiful Roast leather, heated seats/wheel, adaptive cruise, B&O audio, all while also having front and rear lockers, 35s, etc. to make it incredibly capable plowing through zombies.
@Quitefrankly I had the wife, my 2 year old, and the dog along for this trip and it was tight quarters traveling with all of our gear.
I also would like to try to set it up for just myself, potentially sleeping in the truck so I can leave the tent behind. I will say, the hanging kitchen setup...
ALSO! - I bought and installed the amber griller marker lights from F150LEDs.com.
I have to say, I am really impressed with the fit and finish and ease of installation on these!
Starting to see a lot more Broncos on the road in Metro STL, this helps keep mone standing out a bit!
With the weather getting nice in the middle of the US, I finally had a chance to get out for a weekend of camping with the Bronco.
I've been curating a camping tote and gear for a while, and have been thinking about using the Bronco for this purpose since Black Friday 2021, when I placed my...
My Bronco is a Sasquatch, so I feel like the tire comparison is close enough. But, you're not wrong in that the tires on the Willy's Gladiator are absolute trash. Not to say that the Goodyears on a Sasquatch are much better, LoL.
I rented a Gladiator this week for work. Figured it would be fun to drive and an opportunity to compare it to my Bronco after 3 months of ownership and 4,500 miles.
This isn't meant to trigger the Jeep folks, because the Jeep brand deserves a ton of credit for continuously offering the Wrangler...
I bought the V3 table with two levels and the integrated molle grid. It's now out of stock and I haven't seen anyone else posting about it. I'm happy with the build quality on this specific version.
I got an OEM Wildtrak Grill from FordPartsDirect online, and it shipped to my house within a few days. It came unpainted so I had to have a body shop paint it before I swapped it out.
