Ready to join the CTBC. Ordering a Black Diamond 2 door. Area 51, 2.7 10 speed, tow package, mid-package. My previous Bronco was bought new in 1979. Still miss that one but looking forward to getting our 2021 model. Be living on our land outside Fredericksburg in the next year or so. Phil and Tina
So with the latest news regarding timeline for deliveries:
My wife and I have decided to pretend we just heard about the NEW BRONCO today!
That way we only have to wait about 7 months or so to get ours delivered...
Okay we really first heard about it 4 years ago and our pre-order was on July...
Went to a Ford dealership to check out colors that were on other Ford models. The salesman said the new Bronco colors were unknown at this time... this was last week. Walked away.
Re: Dealerships and changes
Have any Members had good or bad dealings with Five Star Ford? Their location on GBush in Plano/North Dallas would be very convenient. Currently at Bob Tomes which still looks good as of now. Sam Pack owns 4 Ford dealerships in the area so may or may not have any...
If I didn't distrust Jeep fit and finish and reliability issues so much, I might reconsider. I speak from my own personal experience on Jeep products. I know Jeep people love them to death. Resale of Jeep is very high. But I still love Bronco and have had 4 Ford trucks and 1 Bronco-All great...

Staying with Bob Tomes in Mckinney Tx unless we find a valid reason to switch. We will drop in on the dealership soon to get a feel of their Bronco knowledge or lack thereof. and ask about their pricing structure regarding same. Probably will need to corral a Sales Manager of some type.
We will still buy our Bronco but will find a way to get the white top on it, and hopefully not have to shell out extra money to get what we want, an item that should be standard.
We will have a white top on our new Bronco regardless of where or how we have to get it. Be nice if FORD MOTOR COMPANY would put it on for us however...

We like a couple of the colors that are being shown, from what we can tell without seeing the real thing. But we would be really happy to see a Hunter Green and my wife would really like a Turquoise/white top combo for that retro look. My 1979...
We are going with Bob Tomes Ford in Mckinney. Seems to be a well thought of dealership and is in our area. They were responsive regarding the pre-order process. December sitting down with them for the actual order will tell us a lot more so stay tuned...
Beyond the already announced paint colors for the Bronco, would Ford be open to suggestions
and/or special paint options. Any talk of say Turquoise With white top and fender flares?
Our current first choice is Cactus Gray, but Antimatter Blue may get the nod.
My former Bronco was a 1979...
