The $100 was to save your place in line so to speak. The $900 extra is because it's $1000 down to place a special order for any vehicle. FCA charges the same to special order a Wrangler or Gladiator.
My understanding of the reservation is it's just holding our spot in line to place an order. It isn't an order itself. We have the option to either place an order with the additional $900 down or to pass on placing an order and getting our $100 back.
That said, I can see Ford saying "We have a...
Right? I know a guy that sends Kendall Ford in Anchorage a lot of business, so for service, I should be OK there. Since my wifes work (a bank) has a deal with them for ALL their local dealerships, the financing isn't too bad either, so I'll only be dealing with a sales manager for a handshake...
Well, to each their own. I also spent time in the Marine Corps Infantry. Learned from that and went into Army Aviation.... If it's not vitally important, I don't walk.
I've been to the Iditarod start once. Now I avoid it (too many people). Good luck on the race! I know it's difficult in good years. Message me if you need anything while you're up here.
So, out of curiosity, I contacted Gobi Racks regarding a system similar to the Stealth Rack they make for the Wrangler being in the works for the Bronco. I didn't ask if it was currently in the works or if they are waiting for the Bronco to be officially in production, sorry. However, I did...
The heated wheel is nice. My current vehicle has it and I use it better than half the year with my arthritis. Heated seats makes me feel like I've pissed myself, but the wheel is nice. As for the other stuff, I agree. Is a heated wheel worth that much? Not when looking at other Ford vehicles...
Will be interesting to see what other companies come up with. When I was looking at getting a Wrangler, I was planning on installing a Gobi Racks Stealth rack. It has a "driving" load of 300 pounds with a static load of 800 pounds. I imagine that they will make a similar setup for the Bronco.
Anyone seen a rendering of a full brush guard? Or heard if one's going to be offered? I plan to use mine hunting and off-roading in Alaska and brush as well as moose and caribou and the odd bear are valid obstacles I'd like a little protection from. Although hitting a moose or bear at speed will...
Jeep WAVE membership...... Yeah, mmmkay there FCA. Teach your dealers what it says in the fine print. I wasted my money on the extended warranty and WAVE membership. Good on the sales guy.....
While the Wrangle Rubicon is a formidable off road vehicle, the crappy customer service in both my local FCA dealerships is why I'm buying a Bronco.
13 years and $100,000 in NEW FCA vehicles (plus another $25,000 in used FCA vehicles) and the service departments treat me like shit. Ford just...
I was on Jeeps website and saw the 3.0L EcoDiesel as an option on the 4 door Rubicon. That has been a long time coming and would lean me that way except for ALL my issues with service departments the last few years. I'd love to see a 4 or 6 cylinder "PowerStroke" in the Bronco.
As a soon to be former FCA customer, their sales reps are hit or miss. Their service departments suck balls. They don't even know the fine print in the Jeep Wave program/warranty. I've had sales guys totally blow it. Had a sales guy and told him NO WHITE AT ALL. Three times I said no white...
FCA has had my households money since 07. The last three years their service depts have driven us away. The 17 Renegade we have will be the last. I wanted a Wrangler Rubicon for years. Was going to order one after seeing the Gladiator was too big for what I wanted. Then, with the issues at the...
In the last 13 years, my household has spent over $100,000 on NEW FCA vehicles and about another $50,000 on pre-owned FCA vehicles. The last three years, the service department at the one dealer has gone to shit. The other FCA dealer has screwed up my vehicles more than the initial issues on...
Did that cutout in the orange ones door have a glass panel in it? That is what I want minus the lift (don't need it where I plan to off-road and I'm handicapped, I'd need a step added). Thanks for the pics, they both look great!
You should have a poll and pie chart for those who were really considering a Wrangler and have now put a deposit on the Bronco. I was all set to buy a new JL series Wrangler 2 years ago, then decided to wait to see the Gladiator, then FCA service pissed me off with my existing Renegade and Dodge...
