Looks great. Congrats, Tim! Velocity Blue looks so damn good. Cant wait for my VB to finally get in my hands. Build date of 12/5. The wait is finally coming to a close.
Finally got my email this morning for a 12/5 production date. Specs are 4D Black Diamond, 2.7, mid, hardtop, and modular bumper.
My original order was a 2D Black Diamond, 2.7 SAS, Mid, Modular Bumper. When it came time to reorder, I decided to switch to the 4 door and took off SAS.
At this...
I had a 2D Black Diamond 2.7 Sasquatch & Mid Package, no tow for my order. I am thinking to change my order to a 4D Black Diamond 2.3 MT and MIC. I've thought about going soft top to get it quicker, but I live in Colorado and think a hard top makes more sense. Also the build quality of the Ford...
Congrats!! Just curious, what are the specs you have on your Black Diamond? I have a BD on order as well, but I have a couple of constrained options. Most likely re-ordering here soon when it gets announced.
Looks good! As long as you do your research on spacers and understand the "risks" of installing spacers on a vehicle, they are fine to install. I am running spacers on my G35 coupe right now, no issues. People act like they are extremely dangerous, they can be dangerous if you are installing the...
They are more 'hardcore' when it comes to wheeling. I would say that they are not the majority of the off-road market in that they are constantly searching for the most difficult trails. What they said in the video is fair, but they have to understand they are a small minority of the market when...
My guess is you will need to remove the seat to get that panel back on considering you were not able to with it in the vehicle. I'd definitely have the dealership take a look at it. The worst thing you want is breaking one of those pins, then it won't fit securely and the dealership will claim...
Heck yeah! Congrats! Seeing another 2D get delivered gives me more hope on my 2D Black Diamond being built... Is it a manual transmission? I see the 2nd picture says "Stick" on the door.
Congrats again, have fun with it!
Covers look great! I might be getting these in my 2D VB (if I ever get mine, lol). Whats up with your cupholder? Is it just so you can hold bigger drinks?
Glad you got it back! I've never seen or heard anything of this happening before. My guess is someone on the line didn't perform some sort of safety test and the Bronco got shipped without the required QA. Seems it was a reasonably quick turn around, which is great. I couldn't imagine waiting...
Those look great! I would love to see what they look like on a 2D Bronco. Someone should post here. Also, I wonder if they would look good if the tube doors were paint matched 🤔
Dont have my bronco yet, but I test drove my dealership's OBX. It was a hot day, turned on the AC and I was actually shivering. I think that means it works well! Lol
I don't have my bronco yet, but one of my cars is a G35 coupe, which has frameless windows. If I have them partially cracked and go over a hard bump it will rattle. I'm not sure if thats normal or not, its my first vehicle with frameless windows - also its 16 years old.
I don't think you will get it early, OP. As others stated, there are a lot of folks with Day 1 reservations for 2D Broncos and have not received a VIN yet, they have no idea when they will receive their order. I'm a "late reservation", reserving in December, 2020. I ordered a 2D Black Diamond...
Does anyone know if you will be able to get the squared fender flares down the road for other Bronco trims? Or is the fender different on this trim and the squared flares won't fit a normal bronco? I would want these on my Bronco, I think they compliment the boxy/squared look.
I guess call me ignorant, but I come from the modded car world and these kind of things are laughed at by the community. If you want to be faster, get supporting mods and tune the ECU by a professional.
Doesn't even look like the Jeep doors will be anything useful, more just an aesthetic. I thought the benefit of the doors with holes in them is to be able to look at oncoming obstacles. That opening is so small!
