My trackers still show āin productionā yet the ford chat people say itās build and should have been delivered last week, but they didnāt know for sure. The modules were in on the first I think so itās sitting somewhere, hopefully just waiting for the fine tooth comb before they call or maybe...
I called, John does not want people calling asking whether their bronco is there or not. He said he would neither confirm or deny if a bronco was there until service says itās good to go.
HPR 2 door badlands last 3 of the vin is 688.. thanks, I hope itās there and they are just waiting to call me till they find time to put the tow on it I asked.
Why did Ford do away with the reservation order and switch to allocation? Big dealers whined like toddlers, same thing now, big stealerships want control of the market and have enough whining power to get what they want
Ford doesnāt want to schedule these orders, they want to use those parts to provide dealers who have huge ADMs ārareā broncos with SAS MIC and LUX. I bet in 3 months ford will be making nothing but high end models for dealers that have done nothing but been shady.
Itās like a restaurant I went into last week, they raised their prices 40% for āinflationā then added a a mandatory 20% tip on top of that to āpay staffā this was on to-go orders. Service sucked and cost is almost double.
Everyone is like get a lawyer, letās say your bronco cost $50kmsrp and the insurance company offers you $50k. A lawyer *might* get you $75k but he will take 33%++++ of it leaving you with with under 50k.
The data seems to show tons of non early reservations being built with every option and configuration. Basically ford could get through all the early reservations in a few weeks then return to the allocation system. They are choosing not to though
This is why any customer order should be verified before going into production, if the customer doesnāt want it, the order cancels and goes the the next person in line. There should be none on the lots until all existing orders are filled.
