I just had one installed. I noticed that it seems like some frequencies it doesn’t play and some it does. I adjusted the crossover but it didn’t help. It’s like it will play a 60hz sound and then play a 65hz sound but it wouldn’t come out of the sub if that makes sense.
Also what sendings...
I used Polk audio from Crutchfield. The highs and mids are a bit louder and much clearer. I no longer hear the muffled hollow sounding music that I was hearing with the factory speakers.
I was
Leaning toward the 8” kicker hideaway or one of the off brands on Amazon that’s less than $200
Looks nice. Are you still liking it?
Also my biggest concern is splicing into the from speakers and running the wires. Any more photos or details of how you did this? I’m
As we know, the stock system is quite lacking. I’ve replaced the 4” speakers which helped but I’m missing some bass now.
I either want a small 8”-10” single sub with amp or a small compact all in one.
What are y’all using? I checked used but didn’t see anything I liked. Looking to spend...
Thanks for the advice on not straddling the rocks. Unfortunately I don’t have full factory skids but will add a few additional plates when I get a chance.
Just curious if anyone has damaged any part of the undercarriage such as gas tank, transmission, transfer case etc?
I have the mod bumper and ordered the OEM transfer case skid. I don’t plan on going on anything higher than say a 5 (scale 1-10) but don’t want to damage anything underneath
I plan to wheel moderate to light trails but nothing close to LiteBrite.
Just makes me wonder how necessary the additional skids are. I guess it’s better to have and not need than to need and not have.
I have the modular bumper and bash plate. Is there a certain area or skid plate I can add that is most important? Something that covers an area that may get dinged a lot.
I’ll have to try popcorn out.
I hit up Nimblewill today. It went well except there was a mud hole that I misjudged and almost got stuck. I had to engage both lockers and give it a lot of gas to get out.
Looking to get my feet wet. I was thinking of Old Bucktown road then nimblewill. The other option was Cashes valley.
Which do y’all recommend? I want something that is more challenging than a dirt/gravel road.
