True, but the good marine grade vinyl holds up better for someone like me who doesn't regularly maintain the leather. You don't need to moisturize vinyl.

One of my sons is interested in using my second reservation. I read somewhere that you can transfer to a family member at time of ordering. I can't seem to find where I read it. Was I dreaming or can we do that? And what constitutes a family member? Do you need to be under the same roof?

Damn you all are tough! I liked most everything about the interiors. Not a fan of the orange accents on the BL interiors but that's a pretty minor concern. Overall I think they did a great job. The negativity bandwagon here is fascinating from a psychology perspective.

I have to say that this is the first thing that has me wondering what to do. I don't like the MIC grey hardtop. I want a hardtop for road trips. Gonna be interesting to see a production level soft top. I don't plan to wait until late availability.

Didn't the painted hardtop come with painted mirrors also? And maybe a painted grill? Not gonna have the painted mirrors even if you buy the hard top later.

I had a chill when I learned how this one happened. I had left my wife in the Jeep up on the steps portion of the trail to get out for a picture. I had it in park and the emergency brake on, but still... Next time I will have the emergency brake checked before leaving, park it with the wheels...

I've considered going with the Bronco and using trail turn assist. It would be scary as hell though. Unless it works at a slow speed you're going to have to be moving faster than you want on those switchbacks.
