Good point. I guess I need to put that back in the truck and swap out from the stubby one when I think I'm gonna have a parking problem (not very often)
I am a new BRaptor owner, having switched from a Suburban. My local airport had one of those PVC bars hanging on chains indicating I was too tall. My Suburban was tired, so I always ignored it and proceeded thru the parking garage many times with no issue.
I feel differently about my new...
I've driven Suburbans for legroom (I'm 6'6") for 20+ years. I looked longingly at a BRaptor at my local dealer thinking I would never fit comfortably. It was mine just a few days later.
I called the service rep at my Ford dealer asking about installing the tune. He checked with his shop manager and said they couldn't do it because they weren't a Ford performance dealer. He noted it seemed simple, foolproof and encouraged me to do it myself.
I shared what I had read that...
I don't know anything about that. I've never had my phone plugged into my Bronco (not even once) and had the problem regularly. Two days (not long) and no problems since update.
I did the global window up (on holding the remote lock button down) this morning.
My passenger window would roll up and then roll back down (whether I was rolling up manually or via remote). I had to relearn a few times, but this seems resolved.
I have a 24 Raptor. Making sure this is actually a thing for my truck before I go out there.
Is there simple way to "detect" it so I can tell that my change worked? Assume it plays the fake sounds even with the radio turned off?
Thanks, I knew how to fix it....it's just annoying. I haven't plugged anything in at all to see. I'm gonna keep trying wireless and hope that the issue is resolved.
I spent the time this weekend to build a PC to run FORScan and discovered my primary use-case for this effort did not work (disable auto stop/start). I was able to make the change, but didn't found it didn't work. I later found a forum post on this four pages down.
Is there any documentation...
Making sure I'm tracking the same problem. I've seen a few times in my week of ownership. CarPlay connects fine, it shows it's playing music (in the Apple Music app) but get no sound.
