Agree.... it is funny that some people here want to change the original thread headlines to be change to reflect the new BS from Ford.... to me it is like wanting to change history so no one will now the truth about what had really happen... kind of like burying your head in the sand.... Ford...
Let me help you out…. These Broncos have 1000s of miles on them with 7qts in them… Ford sent 1000s out with the dip sticks showing over full which contradicted what the manual saying don’t over fill on the stick… I believe Ford didn’t want to replace the sticks…. Soooo… they changed the fill to...
So you are saying since the oil pan removal procedure is the same... then the oil pans are the same??? Hummm... thought you said they were different part #s... guess I was wrong... must be the same pan....
The Bronco Raptor comes with a reinforced chassis and an upgraded suspension setup... there was the need for a little modification of the outside oil pan
I guess the reason I don't trust Ford with their 6qt answer is they have never touched my engine for the year I have owned it when they first put 7.5 qts in it and say it is ok to run 7qts.... and my Bronco screen still says 7 qts and my Ford Pass says 7 qts. and NO I do not have a paper manual...
Built in Oct. 2021... julian date 21281 on the engine.... no issues except Ford put the wrong dip stick for 7qts oil but I took care of that myself with the Raptor stick.... never been back to the dealer....
What I thought.... you can't disprove the Facts.... Having never been sent a SSM or actually reading an original one....other than the one posted here.... if it is for real.... it is irrelevant... have fun my friend...
What is false????
Facts....
1. My manual say 7qt.
2. Ford has stated for over a year it is 7qt. and with 7.5 factory fill.
3. Stick has shown over full for over a year. And still does..
4. Ford didn't want to recall the sticks so they now say 6qts. which is less than they put in at the factory...
