I’ve got a set from my Wildtrak that I just had portals and Foutz double shear heim rod ends installed on it. They have 3500 miles on them all on road
I have a JCR skid I’m going to be installing after I change the engine oil in our Wildtrak 2.7 and have decided to change out the plastic transmission oil pan while I’m at it. I’d obviously prefer to install the PPE deep pan but will I have enough clearance for it?
As you can see in my previous post I was able to install the BRaptor trim on my Wildtrak wheel so the opposite is also true that the Wildtrak will fit the BRaptor wheel with a little trimming to clear the switch mounts. The blue tape is a close approximation of the area to be trimmed for it to fit
Ditto on that. I just finished installing the BRaptor wheel on my 2022 Wildtrak Lux Bronco. To avoid needing Forscan to program the switches I removed my old switches (circuit boards) and replaced the BRaptor circuit boards with them. I reused the BRaptor black plastic switch backing plates. I...
@Rfisher75 when you swapped switch internals did you use your original black plastic backing cover or the full coverage back cover from the BRaptor switches? Reason I ask is the holes in my Wildtrak circuit board don’t line up with the BRaptor backing cover.
I haven’t gotten it swapped yet. I had to straighten up my garage first and install my DV8 rear tailgate spare tire reinforcement. That’s done so I hope to get the steering wheel swapped now and then install my ARB under hood compressor mount. I saw your post about swapping switch internals. How...
I’d like to see them in a+38. I was looking at the 703 in bronze with +30, also really like the look of the 321 machined but it’s not bead grip and I need more back spacing. Maybe put them on the 68 Bronco
That's great news @Rfisher75! I'll be trying the swap on my 22 Wildtrak this next week. I've had the Braptor wheel sitting in the garage for months waiting for a harness to be made and now it appears that we don't need one
It’s the standard BRaptor steering wheel and then I sent it to Dallas Custom Steering Wheels and had them rewrap it in alcantara (better grip than leather or carbon) with blue stitching and a blue 12 o’clock marker to match the factory blue interior accents on my Wildtrak
That’s exciting news! I’m still waiting on Boosted Grey Goose for the BRaptor paddle shifter harness, then this will be next on the list if I survive Christmas
@CarbonBronco and @phal23 I have my BRaptor steering wheel and I’ve contacted Boosted Grey Goose about a Bronco harness but haven’t heard back from them yet. Did either of you have to contact someone specific there? Here’s a few photos of my wheel
