    I do exactly this! If I just want to go check out colors, I also go on Sunday when closed. Don't want a salesman sneaking up on me trying to get me into a new Ford Ranger.

    Nope. The only feature that is a must have for me is the proximity key. Can't get that on a base. Call me spoiled, but I haven't taken my key out of my pocket for 10 years. Not sure I remember where to stick it.
