The sweet spot IMO is around 40. Kids are old enough to start taking care of themself. Money in the bank to do extras and the body doesn’t ache.
50+ is for wealth building, fishing and Icy Hot. Only upside is that hearing starts to diminish which allows you to selectively tune out others.;)
This happened to me. Dealer blamed it on the trucker. They ordered me a second key. I actually a 3rd aftermarket key and had the 2nd/3rd keys programmed at the same time by the dealer. The spare aftermarket cost me $90 and id identical to OEM key.
A lot of aftermarket key fobs are junk and dealers have trouble getting them to program.

The button at the top is to detach the detector from the mount. Yes the radar will stay on for a period of time after you shut the car off. You can just turn the power off on the power button on the radar .
