  1. What do you think is the rarest combination so far?

YaY! S2000 and Base Bronco is the rarest combination! Good for you! :- )
  2. Three Questions: Heat gauge, warm up time, rev matching.

I'll enjoy playing with the poo gauge choices. Good to know about the heat. Denver isn't Michigan or Ontario but it does get cold. ... and every transmission is different. Hoping the clutch throw is decent, but I'll adjust. Nice to know there are manuals out there. :- )
  3. Three Questions: Heat gauge, warm up time, rev matching.

Any temperature measurement is nice. Apparently it's oil, says BlueOvalBandit, but anything to keep an eye on is good. Good to know about the rev matching. My Subaru's is irritating when I want to double clutch down. Good to know about the roll back. I kinda like that, but I can see that it...
  4. Three Questions: Heat gauge, warm up time, rev matching.

Thank you for the reply ... idiot bar is at least better than a simple idiot light, I think. :- )
  5. Three Questions: Heat gauge, warm up time, rev matching.

Hi all. My BaseSquatch manual 2.3 liter is coming, allegedly, and I'm hoping someone who actually has a manual 2.3 Bronco knows these things. Is there an actual engine water temperature gauge somewhere? Or just an idiot light? Or even an idiot light ... How quickly does the 2.3 engine warm up...

  7. Dealers- how many orders/ reservations didn't convert by Nov 21st?

I have the same build, though a 10/20 reservation, and am now scheduled a week before you. Something must have opened up for two-door manual Sasquatches.
  8. So what is "it" about the Bronco (for you)?

Two years ago I was looking for a new car. I simply wanted a four-wheel drive with a stick. Wranglers look great, but Consumer Reports, and more importantly my mechanic, told me that Wranglers are unreliable, so I was probably gonna get a Crosstrek. ... because that was about what was available...
  9. Who buys a 1st year anything?

You are correct. I was foolish to reserve and order a 1st year vehicle. It's obvious that 2d or 3d year is much less likely to have defects. Fortunately Ford Motor Company realized how foolish I had been, and put my order out a coupla years ... ... pretty nice of them. 😄
  10. Ford emails stopped

    Right ... 17 syllables. 17!
  11. Ford Accessories… Soft Top Material

Hi Marauder, I have a soft-top roadster and the original twill top lasted for about 12 years. The experienced leather/vinyl folks in Denver who replaced the original with a new twill top explained that a vinyl top would last me about half that. Phil

    Colorado Bronco Club

That's comforting. My salesman is Sean, though I re-ordered with Cody, who was great. I'm still waiting and it's good to know they are following through.
  13. Should I order a backup Bronco?

Good point. Yeah, I reordered. I just have too many rare parts. 😕
  14. Should I order a backup Bronco?

So ... "respect for persons" and "do what's right." Would Kant respect Ford Motor company though?
  15. Should I order a backup Bronco?

Hi all ... tell me what you think. I have an October 2020 reservation and a January 2021 order on a 2-door Base Sasquatch. I know my delivery is gonna take forever, and while I think I have my dealer tied into no dealer markup, I can't be certain. So .. should I quick order an identical backup...

    Nice!
  17. Welp, it happened. I got DUCKED!
