not blaming the color at all. I just happened to like AMB better is all.
the only color I wouldn't actually own on a bronco is Black (unless it was for the purpose of wrapping it), impossible to keep clean. I'll die on this hill "Black only looks good on the showroom floor" and I love it...
I would think a wrap would be the easiest way to do the top and some of the little bits like the little guides on the fenders and the latches on the rear glass. I seem to have read somewhere that wrap does a pretty good job on the top, might be worth checking out as a cheaper alternative.
this is the only thing that I want to be better about the bronco. would love to see tow rating get up to around 6000 lbs, I wouldn't need another vehicle ever.
kinda what I was thinkin as well as I'm approaching 55 this fall. I may get a project car for fun, but that will likely be a fox body that needs some work.
FTR - another option for project car is a factory five cobra to build with my sons and my dad since he's still alive.
generally speaking I'm a long term owner of every vehicle. so I expect mine to be around for 10 yrs or so. which may change as I'm approaching 65yr old by then... 🍻
they will continue to charge ADM as long as customer are willing to pay for it. with interest rates up, loads of inflation, etc I think the days of ADM on a regular production vehicle are short numbered. you'll still see it on specials like Raptor, GT500, Z06, etc but the ADM's are starting to...
only vehicle i've owned that I loved more than my 05 f150 was my 91 GT. I miss my old fox to this day and my f150 is still being driven, but it's about time and will be replaced by a bronco.
ya, I've spent a LOT of time in the shop and consider myself pretty competent for a shade tree mechanic so the upgrade path isn't a problem and I agree is some of the fun, something I enjoy, turning the wrench a bit is somewhat therapeutic time for me. frankly the only thing I truly dont wanna...
na, I hear what you're sayin, believe me, it's not as dire as it sounds. I just realize that there are things that strike fear into the heart of some wives. a 60k plus vehicle is one of those things for my wife. if I were buying no holds barred and damn the torpedos i'd probably end up with...
ok, so the MGV is quite nice and the BD has rubberized flooring instead of carpet? ok, yall about got me sold on BD non-sas vs the BB Sas. I mean I figure I'm gonna be adding 35's of my choosing anyway and a set of Bilsteins to get the clearance i need.
