Mine is a little more than 2 inches as you can see the stage 2 has plenty of droop out left on the spring collars if you want to slack them out and stay closer to stock.
I am a non sasquatch BD with a winch/front bumper combo. And a rear half rack. It's not super heavy but mine sits level with...
Mine is still pretty well centered. I haven't measured but probably less than half an inch. The Bronco track bar is pretty long and still close leveled at my current height. Maybe the jeep is a shorter bar or already drooped out a bit? I'm not super familiar with the coil spring jeeps, the last...
I had factory arms on mine for about 10k miles. All the miles on the stage 1 were with completely factory equipment.
Now with the stage 2 I have uppers, but they aren't strictly required. You aren't getting the height or travel with theses that you're getting from a longer travel fully...
Yea if the spindle is unsecured it will fall and do the boot and/or break the cv.
Hopefully you enjoy the suspension other that the initial cv/axle thing.
That's the tie size I'm running. It's setup pretty tall, could go higher on both axles, but it'll also clear 35s if I wanted.
My main goal is to be able to fully tuck at full lock while offroading without any chance of rubbing.
I'm sure you could adjust it with the wheel on. Might take some finagling though.
Front:
Rear:
Both of those pics are from the front of each axle looking to the rear. The front tire is turned a little bit. It is much easier if you jack it up a bit and unweight things a smidgen first...
I'll get some when I'm back home from vacation. There's probably an inch of poke I'd say. It's enough to get me by without worrying much about body damage. I also have sliders welded onto the frame. I send it through some shit.
You have 2 options. The stage 2, which will be slightly better and give you uadjustabke height. Or the Sasquatch spring replacement system. Which will give you a little height all around and should get it more or less level. The stage 2 eibach is a little better imho.
I also wouldn't mind a polished set. The Matte Bronze look great on the Velocity Blue, but thr finish has suffered in the rocks. They are still solid though, no complaints. Having a machined or polished set would let me keep the rock dings from sticking out so bad. The 0 offset is just about...
Eibachs are a 2 inch shock body. I have the stock black hitachis at home, I can measure in a few days when I get back from vacation. I don't have the original stage 1 to compare it to, but I can with the stage 2.
Yea the ease of adjustability is a seling point on the stage 2. In my opinion they ride better that my stage 1, but that also might be because I had a pre-production stage 1 set. They revised some of the shock tuning and, I think, went with a lighter spring for the stage 1 system.
Having the...
The sasquatch system is a set of replacement springs. The stage 2 and the sasquatch is pretty comparable and not a huge upgrade like the base to a stage 2. The main advantage is the threaded adjustable height of the stage 2 vs the fixed sasquatch bilsteins.
Eibach installed at their HQ for me and for testing purposes. I have a few shops depending on where you are.
The Adventure Offriad guys do good work they have a few locations. And Peak Suspension opened up for some installs of limited items. Those are the 2 shops I work with on the regular.
These are very compliant. The kits come with Shocks and Springs. The stage one is a coil around the shock and mounts exactly like the factory stuff. The stage 2 is a true coilover.
They make springs for fox, radflow and several other oems. They are only stiff if you spec them heavy and stiff.
