23 2 door Wildtrak
In shop now, covered under drivetrain warranty thank goodness.
I had same issue, 50k miles. Metal in differential fluid.
Symptoms were metallic grinding on load starting at around 20 mph. Off throttle no noise until costing to stop. I was afraid it was not going to be...
I know this is an older thread but I'm getting a whining drivetrain noise that sounds like it is coming from passenger rear. I've jacked it up on all four corners and spun all wheels while in neutral, nothing out of the ordinary.
At cruising speed is where I'm hearing it. I was thinking old...
Seven since 1990! Still love Wranglers but for my use case which is more highway and overland I would never go back. Bronco is much more refined and more comfortable to drive.
I have searched many threads but cannot find this specific answer. As most know there are two KO2’s available in 315/70/17 (Jeep Rubicon and Ford Performance for Raptor). The Rubicon is 500 lbs lighter and I believe the Raptor pickup is almost 800lbs heavier. The speed rating is a little...
I run 39 psi and rotate. I’m thinking the idiots at the dealership I bought it from didn’t prep correctly. It had only been on the lot 12 hours so I’m guessing alignment issues. I’ve never had it checked as it has driven fine?!? Getting Recon Grapplers next week and alignment. The Recon’s are...
I hope this “fix” helps someone. I thought it may be something you could try if you have a ProCal. I almost went into full on panic attack when those codes were thrown and experienced performance degradation. Hopefully dodged a bullet?!?
I just wanted to let anyone know that I've read many of the "Wastegate Stuck" and "Powertrain Malfunction" codes being thrown and my 23 2-door Wildtrak threw both today?!? In a panic...because I have a ProCal performance tune I loaded myself in June I called the dealer and made an appointment...
The only place you can even see that my HOSS 3.0 Wildtrak has Fox shocks is looking at the passenger front tire from front of rig. Wish this wasn't the case?!?
I too had a couple of hiccups on my initial try at downloading on my MY23 Wildtrak but after a couple of tries the performance tune updated on the ProCal and it loaded onto Bronco with no problems. I thought it was huge improvement over stock tune. The new shift points, a little added boost...
I have 23 Wildtrak and as someone has probably mentioned already in this thread, the HOSS 3.0 package is “much more” than just throwing on Fox shocks. You get numerous steering and control arm upgrades. Believe they are off the Braptor?!? I drove a Badlands without HOSS and to be quite honest...
I have my own box and can upload any updates directly from Ford Performance and application directly to their portal.
I haven’t checked for any in a few weeks. I love the way it performs now and just been enjoying it. The 2.7 should have been flashed with this tune from factory?!? Very mellow...
