I’ve got a 21228 as well. I just crossed 10K miles. Seems like you and I are in the range possibly just out of the bad valves or last of them. Time will tell.

Thank you for the info. I guess I would either be the last of the “bad valves” or Guinea pig for the correction. Fingers crossed. I’ll be sure to update if mines goes.

Man, these just keep coming. Pardon me not reading through all 275 pages, but how confident are we that these engine failures are contained mainly to the “hot zone” of Julian dates? I have a 228 date. That’s awfully close to the hot zone. I just crossed 10K miles.

I know there is a market for this, not sure how large, but it just doesn’t do it for me I do like the prospect of the mod top coming to reality, but that’s about it. To each their own!

22mpg out of the 2.7L?? Damn. I’m taking my 2.7L Outer Banks to the Outer Banks next month (520 miles) and will be driving in eco mode with the cruise on. I’m hoping to get over 20mpg. I also have the 4.27 gears and added 33’s that are quite heavy compared to the stock 32’s.

The OBX with Sasquatch does not have painted flares. I prefer the look of the painted flares and didn’t need the Sasquatch package for what I’ll be doing. The only thing about the OBX I didn’t like was the OEM tire/wheel combo.

The wheels are 17x9. Tires are 285/70
