  2. Compilation of 2.3L Reviews!

The majority of reviews I’ve read say that there isn’t much difference between the 2.3L and 2.7L, until you’re on a hill/incline. I’ll watch the videos after work.
  3. Compilation of 2.3L Reviews!

2.3L Reviews TFL Cars ā€œThe smaller engine might not have the horsepower of the V6, but it’s lighter and definitely changes the feel of the truck. Making it even more agile.ā€ -Kelley Blue Book ā€œThe 2.3 L engine is more than enough to keep pace with traffic, even in Eco mode and even with...

  8. Just in: MAP shutting down weeks of 7/5 and 7/26

I’m in the same boat my friend. Let me know if you find anything out!
  9. My test drive review of the 2 door Wildtrak

I hear this a lot from people who haven’t driven the 2.3L. You have to remember the 2.7 only has 30 more HP than the 2.3. As someone who’s driven both, they feel almost identical, unless you’re on a steep hill. Acceleration and speed is pretty much the same.
  10. 2.7L Bronco First Edition 0-60 MPH VIDEO!!

The 2.7L only has 30 more horsepower than the 2.3L. And when measuring 0-60 times, horsepower (and torque at the wheel), is far more important than engine torque. So the times between the two engines should actually be very similar. https://danielmiessler.com/study/horsepower/
  11. 2.7L Bronco First Edition 0-60 MPH VIDEO!!

I’m joining in on this conspiracy theory!!
  12. 2.7L Bronco First Edition 0-60 MPH VIDEO!!

You’re forgetting the 2.3 Ranger weighs about 1,000 pounds less than a fully-loaded First Edition Bronco. And it doesn’t have to push around 35ā€ MT tires either. Besides, the 2.7 only has 30 more horsepower than the 2.3. So their 0-60 times will be very similar.
  13. Production Date Moved due to MAP shut down?

Thank you for saying what everyone is thinking, but too afraid to say. A lot of good information doesn’t get shared in this forum, because people don’t want to be attacked.
  14. Production Date Moved due to MAP shut down?

I’m in the exact same boat. 4 Door 2.3 BaseSquatch w/ Soft Top. Not sure what’s happening with MAP the week of 7/26.
  15. 2.7L Bronco First Edition 0-60 MPH VIDEO!!

Exactly, that’s what I figured. I think you can do much better than 8.1 seconds with the right conditions. 😜
  16. I received another Ford email this morning 6/26

Wow, congrats!! I see a lot of people getting rescheduled emails this morning. Some getting moved up, some getting pushed back. I have a 7/26 build date. And since MAP is shutdown that week, I’m hoping I get a reschedule email soon.
  17. 2.7L Bronco First Edition 0-60 MPH VIDEO!!

I think a Base Bronco with the 2.7L, and no accessories, will hit a 0-60 in 5.9 seconds (without any tune). That’s how I got to my conclusion.
  18. 2.7L Bronco First Edition 0-60 MPH VIDEO!!

I think with the right driver, the right tune, and the right configurations, you could get around 5.9 seconds for the 0-60. The First Edition is fully loaded, and is pushing around the sasquatch package. It’s going to be the slowest of the trims.
  19. 2.7L Bronco First Edition 0-60 MPH VIDEO!!

The 2.7L was previously reported to get the Bronco to 0-60 in 5.9 seconds. Im sure with the right driver and configuration (less weight), this will hold true. That engine is no joke. Neither is the 2.3L. Ford did a great job engineering the power train for these vehicles. Edit: Unless there’s a...

Exactly! You hit the nail on the head! The timing seems deliberate. This was incredibly logical and well written. Thank you! I hope others take the time to read this.
