This has been asked a lot the past year on this forum, do a search, there are plenty of comments to read from both sides. But to me:
A manual let's you feel the vehicle. From the earliest geared bicycles I rode, to the motorcycle I learned to drive on, you vary how each gear shifts. You can...
I just ordered a trailer hitch for my Bronco. Something I always get on my trucks, but I know I probably won't tow with this vehicle and its manual transmission. But I want it for a carrier rack. I mean the type that are a "tray" that fits into the hitch, and you can pile camping gear on it...
Yep. Also, remember Ford team Bronco said that dealership allocations will be negatively impacted for every reservation that doesn't get bought. Not ordered...bought. I assume that means by the reservation holder. Tell any shyster dealer you are going to call Ford....but prefer to just buy...
Frankly for as strong-willed most of us Bronco orderers are, I am surprised at how many say "I'll walk if they try that to me." That is a VERY weak response that will not do a thing to stop dealers from doing this. They WANT you to walk! They get more money that way. It's a strong-arm tactic...
Or look at it this way. You are still ahead, because on those you didn't buy a warranty and didn't need it, you "saved" $1000 each. So if you did that with just 3, your repair now costs what you didn't spend on the warranties.
Good comments, thanks. I also saw vets only get the discount for 24month after leaving. So I'm out of that one. Not to mention it's not for Broncos!
The free oil changes for life was how I picked this dealer, and I negotiated hard to get "something", they were all quoting MSRP back when I...
I can't go back and see what the negative person commented to gauge it's severity, because I blocked him. But in polite society, you:
- Say something positive, or say nothing at all.
- Don't state a contrary opinion about an original post that wasn't asking for opinions.
- If you do have a...
I'm thinking you accidentally quoted the wrong person? Your replies are all over the map, but disjointed. I'm not into cancel culture, I'm into ignoring negative people. The guy came onto a new thread where someone was excited about his emblem, and trashed it. No need for that, and it's not...
Yep, I hated my ESP I got in 1990 on my Taurus SHO. It was a hard sale tactic, and "bumper to bumper" was thrown out enough times I relented and bought it to get out of there. But in the 10 years I owned the SHO, Ford never paid a penny on several expensive repairs. Always had excuses why it...
Yep, that's what the young salesman I have to use at my dealership told me on the phone today! Have a 9/27 build, called to check in on final steps, payment process, tell them I'm a vet, want to swap tires. I don't know if salesmen get training for this, or it just attracts sadists, but he...
I got these from Dennis Carpenter out of Charlotte, NC. It was a nice throwback....I ordered a Sprint V8 logo from him over 30 years ago to go on my Falcon Sprint, which was missing one side.
These had the pins, which I just cut off with a Dremel tool. Held up to my old F-150 which I bought...
No, they're made to get information and to feel good about what the "hobby" is. This forum is 50% negative nellies, constantly filling threads with snark, sarcasm, attacks, arrogant posts about "if you are worried about XYZ...maybe the Bronco isn't for you..." Maybe it is just the generation...
