I also had a signed purchase agreement with an x-plan pin listed on it. That was from when I converted my reservation to an order the first time. I already knew Ford wasn’t accepting x-plan on Broncos, I’m not sure if my dealer knew that or not. They said they tried to submit my PIN number when...
Nobody is honoring x-plan, they’re just giving you a discount. Even if they tell you to bring in your pin, they’re not submitting it to anyone, they don’t get any reimbursement from Ford.
Never heard back from the guy. I’ll probably try to reinstall it eventually, and if I get the Powertrain malfunction again, just pull it back out and throw it away.
That would make sense for stock orders, but a special order already has a buyer. If they’re just trying to keep the terminology consistent, this is a new one to me.
Hell if I know. You could probably find out by clicking the link to the page selling them. I never bothered to look for any warranty info.
edit: after they were installed, I don’t really have any major concerns. After I got the bolts torqued down to 50lbs, my worries went away. I just know that...
Just to add, they reuse the factory bolts, and a lot of the bolts on these broncos are very soft. It says to torque them to 50 ft lbs, and I was getting scared the head would snap off before I got there. And the threaded insert part that you run the bolt into isn’t actually a nut or threads...

I guess I’ll weigh in here too. That Everest thing looks nice to me, I would consider buying it for the wife. Not saying it’s girly, but she drives a Grand Cherokee and this seems similar. The 3.0 turbo diesel sounds great, I would probably choose that over the hemi in our GC. I really wish they...
