Depends how mild. Definitely basic recovery gear, maybe an air compressor, definitely a flashlight. I would recommend at least upgrading to a suspension like the Bilstein 5100s, give you a 2" lift with better shocks for around $500 plus install. Having the 35's with the softer stock suspension...
I have the RTR Evo +30 17" rims. I know people have put the 34s on stock BB rims but I've heard of rubbing on the turns. +30 is the same offset as Badlands and Sas, the poke is perfect for me, not sticking out a lot, but just enough to give it more balance and a little look. The big thing also...
No, left those stock. Just changed out the tires, rims, and shocks. Didn't need to remove the crash bars either and with the +30 offset rims I don't have any rubbing.
35s more fun but wil feel it, 33s will feel better and get better gas for daily.. or split them and get 285/75s, which are about 33.9x11.25. I have 285/75/R17 with a 2 inch lift from Bilstein 5100s with the 3.73 gears. I don't have the performance tune either but it runs great.
Mine is very up and down depending on the variables, as all cars but its a big difference. It also depends what model and upgrades you have, steel accessories and bigger tires add up. Stock V6 big bend i was getting like 22-24 on flat highways, now with 34s, 2" lift, still stock plastics...
I agree with the above post, tires are very subjective and everyone loves something different. I love my Toyo AT3s and they've been great in the rain and snow. That being said if I lived farther north like MA, I would probably go with the Falken Wildpeaks for a little better snow performance.
Did they ever figure out the USB issue? My front USB-C port isn't working now, the USB-A port right next to it does though. I've been using the USB-A port for a couple weeks now I really don't want to take it in if it's going to be a big deal for them to fix. Fuses look fine and I cleaned the...
I left mine out one day with the top back in the first position and it got poured on for about an hour. I dried everything with towels, I have cloth seats so i tried to soak up as much i could in the seats towels too. I left it out in the sun the rest of the day top down, doors open, and put 2...
I have the StickerFab V1 seatbelt retentions, cheap piece of plastic but eliminates the flapping. Looks like they came out with new ones. Only thing I've noticed is if people yank the seatbelts getting in it can pull them off...
No they’re not the badlands coilovers. They’re Bilstein 5100 aftermarket shocks. Replaces the stock shock but reuses the spring, adds 1”-3” of lift depending what you want. Better than the stock coilovers but still a cheaper option. If I was going to do any real off-roading I’d go with a more...
Went with the Bilstein 5100s shocks. Didn’t want spacers and I’m not doing any serious off roading so don’t really need more expensive coilovers. Got 4k miles on them no complaints so far.
I have 285/75 R17 Toyo AT3s with +30 offset RTR wheels. Crash bars are still on, plenty of clearance. I did try to take them off anyway but those things are on there good so i gave up. I also have a 2" lift.
What i've been seeing almost 2" less is more accurate, also depends a little on your set up. So mine are 285/75/17s, 34" tire with circumference of 2700mm, but the circumference that I settled on that made the speedo accurate was 2565mm, or 32.15 inch circumference. That worked for my friend...
