@First BaseMan, sadly or proudly (not sure which), I'm not that far behind @mpmcgaughey. I've gone through a lot of crap to get my Bronco and I need to complete the process to feel vindicated.
@mpmcgaughey, right there with you. My Bronco arrived in the Pearland Depot two days ago. Still waiting for it to make it to the dealership. Which dealer are you going through?
@SubmarineNuke fair enough. I'll give you partial pain credit. Mine is trucking along. As of this morning, the train is in Edmond, OK so hope to have it soon and meet up to get mine dirty as well.
@SubmarineNuke congrats on the purchase and jealous you didn't have to go through everything most of us on this forum have. I ordered my Wildtrak in January 2021 and it is finally on a train right now heading to Houston. Should have it sometime next week.
It's no wonder I was told the hold was initiated by the dealer with that kind of description for Sales & Marketing Hold. Not sure why that delay was created when the dealer can't initiate a hold.
@JoshuaPrieto that's what I was later told. As I initially posted, when I called the Ford New Vehicle Support team, they told me it was initiated by the dealer. When I went to the dealer and we called them again from there, they refused to speak to anyone from the dealer and hung up. They're...
@Cape Bronco that does seem odd that a hold would be put on at the railyard. When I spoke to the Ford rep last week, she told me that they made a change in their system where there used to be a generic "hold", there are now 8 different types of holds. Since this was just rolled out last week, a...
@scojosmac if it makes you feel any better, I was on the 2/7/22 build group and my vehicle just got on a train on Thursday, so I can say the same thing to you.
@Nick508 , In my case, I got it from the Ford rep, but the dealers also have it. My understanding is they get a report every Friday that contains that information for the vehicles they'll be receiving.
@Br6nco, are you sure it's going by rail car from Pearland to Del Rio? It could be that Pearland was the last stop by train and is going by truck to Del Rio. You may want to call your dealer. They probably know. I haven't seen anything to be able to track the vehicle once it gets off the train...
@Jmiller94, I know a couple other people that have Bronco's, but they just got them. I would be very surprised if they ordered it with one and wanted to take it off and sell it. Is that a thing that is going on or just wishful hoping?
I never got a assembly line photo but I did get confirmation that my Bronco has finally left the building and is on a train heading to TX. If you know your railcar number, I found on a different thread someone that found a site where you can see a picture of your railcar. Here is a pic of mine...
