I did something similar. I wanted to have the weight of the top rest in its normal mounting surface so built an aluminum frame that the guide pins index into. I put the middle section on top of the rear cap and can put the two front panels inside if I need to.
I have these and would recommend over the film as they are so easy to use/swap.
I did find them to be more yellow than amber and I've been contemplating picking these up in hopes they match the OEM amber a little better...
There may be others but Pura Vida Off-road is what I have.
Tucks them up into the hard top and if the traction boards themselves didn't sag slightly, you wouldn't even see them out the rear view.

Just finished mine using Cricut, not perfect either but pretty close and honestly close enough as with my traction boards mounted, no one is ever going to see it 🤣.
The only thing I can think to add is that FE should have a different interior color than what is available in the 21'-24' Wildtrak. I don't care for the sand/tan interior of the Wildtrak and it is one reason we were looking at the FE.
I came from a 2dr Wrangler and told myself the same thing until I drove a Raptor. I would have never seen myself getting a 4dr but here we are.
I went fairly down mental rabbit hole of what the best way to get to a 2dr Raptor and rough cost would be. Decided the wife getting a 2dr was a way...
It's hard to say a Raptor should be 75k when Lux Wildtraks are 64k-70k.
Then you look at Ranger Raptor before ADM at 56k and suddenly 75k seems maybe a smidge high by that comparison.
I've started to come around to the idea that this might be a viable option.
There are lots of OEM soft tops on FB marketplace in my area.
I had a Bestop Trektop Pro on my 2dr Wrangler and that thing was great. It was a very nice twill soft top but also had glass side windows and rear glass...
M1117 ASV were hard to maintain but were an absolute blast to drive operationally and just cruising around inside the wire. They have hydraulic seats so you can drive around with your head out of the hatch in a safe area.
Hopefully this post and my picture can help.
The link doesn't have side by side but shows multiple and close up pictures of leather vs vinyl.

I've sat in but don't have the black leather...
Yeah, I'm going to have some type of shade. With my Jeep I had a soft top and soft doors so going open air was an every day thing. I had a Bimini under the sun rider.
The $40 one I installed today almost came right back off but it's raining so I'll at least take it for a drive tomorrow. I've...
Any input is greatly appreciated. The Raptor request is really because I'm not aware of any other top explicitly designed for the Raptor.
I do like the coverage, the fact it is US made, and I've had positive interactions with them via email and on here.
Thanks again for your input.
I greatly appreciate the input but you are doing the opposite of what I'm going for here 🤣. Seriously though, that is good perspective and removal of the Velcro was a concern.
For Raptor owners who have JTOP Bimini, help push me over the edge of getting one. I was going to last year but was waiting for the custom option.
I just finished my DIY top hoist and I've been hemming and hawing on getting the JTOPs. There aren't really any alternatives for the Raptor and the...
