Imagine what these tops are going to look like after 5 or 10 years of daily exposure. 😲
Has anyone figured out how to duct tape a Jeep hardtop on a Bronco?
I can't wait for the auto dealership model to disappear off the face of the earth forever. Turn those places into delivery/service centers with no sales component involved whatsoever.
Unfortunately this happens. Back in 2003 my brother ordered a limited-edition VW GTI (337 Edition). Only 1,500 were built and all were pre-sold. By stroke of bad luck it was on the train transporter and was hit by a severe hailstorm in Denver. The car looked like a silver golf ball (ironic). Of...
Same for me. I'm this |---| close to saying "Screw you Ford" and walk away, but the only other vehicle on the market right now that catches my eye is......the new Ford Maverick. ☹
(Yeah, I know, totally different vehicle from the Bronco, but 29 mpg highway and could tow a small boat or camper...
I wish my small local dealer would tell me my spot in line on their reservation list. They act like it’s top-secret information that cannot be revealed.
I've never owned a Ford, and my first and only Chrysler product is my 2016 Durango R/T that got a water pump from a bad manufacturing batch that ended up catastrophically, oh, and a stupid taillight design that fills with water and burns out the LEDs (I'm on my 4th now), but is reliability...
And going back to the dealership the next day to pick up your vehicle after fighting the finance guy back to the original numbers only to find they've now added "Security VIN Glass Etching" for an additional $500 which you refuse to pay for despite their pleas "It's the only way we can make any...
My reservation is with a small local dealer, so I have zero idea where I fall in the pecking order, how the new allocation scheme affects me, etc. 2nd-day reservation but I have no clue if I'm going to see my new vehicle in 4 months, 8 months, or 2 years. SO FRUSTRATING.
Yikes. I'm not an off-roader in the sense I would likely ever find myself in this particular situation, but I'm curious how insurance handles these types of incidents - or do they handle them at all?
No way GAP insurance is going to cover a $25k dealer markup over MSRP. People who are willing to pay that to be the first Bronco owner on the block clearly have cash to burn and will have to accept the fact that their cash was actually burned if they happen to total their vehicle.
