It's honestly impressive how much technology has improved fuel MPG on heavy trucks. My 2005 Hyundai Accent 1.6L econobox I had in college got 22mpg. I think that thing weighed about 2300lbs, so literally half of a 4600lb F-150.

Build is 4D badlands 2.3/manual with high package and towing package. My wild guess for why I lucked out is that it's a high-margin build for Ford that doesn't require a ton of the extra special stuff in the lux package or any of the sasquatch bits.
