It's as good an opportunity as any to share some experiences. Everyone has an adventure story to share, many times offroad and involving a 4x4. Besides, our world could use more folks connecting in positive ways.
Backup is to wait until it's available. The closest viable option in comparison would be a Jeep. I like Jeeps, but I would rather wait 2 years for a Bronco than buy a Jeep tomorrow.
No, but you can only change once, so be sure. There's group buy efforts and a few dealers on this forum offering good deals. Look hard before transferring.
I am stoked, excited and impressed with all I have seen so far. All that's left for me to do is drive it and sort out what I may want to change, and they've built it so we can do that. Its got more tech and creature comforts than my 76 FJ-40 ever had. Maybe I'm easy to please, just finding it...
The Jeep offerings are underwhelming. I like Jeeps, but there's just nothing they have put out that is very captivating. Same old stuff, repackaged a little. Boring and expensive, for what you get. I was more excited about the Mahindra Roxor Jeep clone than any recent Jeep products!
