Eh, wouldnāt fault them for that either way. E.G. Lethal Performance has been doing their thing since before Braptor came out the factory. A solid shop w/solid reputation. Even if Ford were to delay shipping to vendors, from what Iāve seen, LP has great communication and transparency. And...
Maybe he guessed at a random lic. plate, but he still guessed right. l give props to the fact he foreshadowed this specific (and seemingly random at the time) topic. He didnāt pic plate 456 or 454 from to say the same thing. Dude should read tarot cards if you ask me. š¤£
And besides, give āolā...
^^^ What I do also. I store mine with all modular pieces in bags and is tucked neatly in a corner of my barn. But if I needed to store it in front of the Bronco in the garage, the things designed exactly for that. Been happy with it so far.
Read that original post and will say am impressed how you put those dots together. Seemed like a bit of a stretch to me but was very Sherlock Holmes of you how it ended up.
Had this happen in Hawaii while out on a long hike except was over an inch of rain. Could walk you through everything I did that worked, but at this point, so long as outside humidity is mild, you might take/buy/rent a full size house window fan, leave your front windows and rear door open with...
^^^ Really, what I wanted to say and didnāt. A bit more visibility for window, and ditto on the enclosure solution. For Ford/Tuffy enclosures, seems like thereās plenty of anchor points between the lid and behind rear seats at floor level thatād work great.
I like how that works with your stock setup and how it doesnāt look like youād have to reposition all your sensors afterward. Is that how it worked out?
Eh, not sure Iād take a laugh reaction from here as hard as you are. And really, IMO anyone personalizing their rigs is mostly putting themselves out there that some will agree with and others may not, but itās fine both ways. Itās what makes your rig yours. You getting a full day of hard use...
Think youāre good here. Donāt believe thereās been any criticism anywhere. This threads about winch bumper ideas and having recently seen and been impressed by yours I shared. I think youāll find most folks here to be supportive even if something doesnāt appeal to their tastes. Apologies if I...
Certainly looks burly. And I gotta think thereās a big need for this with Bronco owners considering the same air-suck effect happens when driving wet roads in rain. Personally I prefer the dust over highway road grime getting sucked in. Will you be offering a non-full tonneau cover in back for...
@JTopsUSA Mike, thanks for the reply. For my purposes driving dirt roads, I donāt need it to be fully waterproof. I just need the Bimini to be non-fully breathable fabric and have an option for a removable rear window to seal the back just behind my back seats. I just need it to stop the Venturi...
Picturing three trailers behind a 2dr anything just made my day. And we both know thereās someone out there oblivious to the risk thatās probably tried/done it.
You sound like youāre not short of towing experience and while I agree with most (not all) points you make here, not gonna lie, right...
I think what burns me up most about it is how it went a year and a half without it happening. I live in the arid West, 2nd driest state and think that helped hide the issue. Had it happened immed after purchase, I wouldnāt be as miffed. I have to think the guys living in coastal humid areas...
