It sounds like you have to have the latest APIM firmware to get the latest power up. What I want to know is whether Ford sends APIM (Sync) updates over the air, or if you have to go to a dealer. The power ups seem like just spot patches.
It's hard to make that claim when not a single aftermarket top actually exists beyond a pre-production prototype, and based on what's been posted this week, ADV looked like hot garbage in some of the photos... worse than MIC 1.
Pretty sure this will put more strain on the compressor. I wouldn't recommend this without first checking with ARB on both recommendations and warranty.
From what I’ve read, ADV didn’t even have the equipment to make hard tops until a couple months ago. Seems unlikely they’ve got any more experience than the others. Fenders maybe.
They've now added a "primer grey" version to their website. Looks like they're prepping for an announcement to go production.

M2DZ-78502G33-CA (rear cap) $2,000
M2DZ-78502G32-AA (center panel) $700
M2DZ-7850284-AA (side panel) $500
There's obviously seals, glass, and so on, but if you price it out online, it comes nowhere near $12k anymore. I would talk to one of the parts dealers in this forum.
The sound deadening is more for the interior. It helps prevent echoing of voices / radio etc. it’s not really meant to be an insulator for exterior noise.
I don’t understand why you’re trying to troubleshoot this when you have a full warranty-if your current dealer isn’t helping, take it to a different one.
