What parts are the dealers typically ordering to perform the tsb? I’m kinda worried that I’ll be in a loaner for awhile once the transmission is opened because my dealer only ordered the sync rings.

Removed the entire strut, put my foot on the spring and smacked them with a bfh. Took about 5-10 mins for each stud.

Looks like you also have to beat out the factory studs in the strut to replace them with the longer bolts in the kit. I had to do this with my rough country kit and it was a pita.

I swapped mine pretty early on so it came off easy. I used some braided fishing line and worked it back and forth.

I found my black horse emblem on Amazon. It was cheap so I expected it to be plastic but was surprised when it showed up in metal.

Powder coating is fine but I replaced the bolts because the originals were rusting. I also had to enlarge the holes where it bolts to the tailgate. It was pushing the tailgate towards the drivers side and the gaps weren’t correct.

Sounds good, I’m looking to get the same things done. Let me know a time and place when you guys get that figured out.
