It has nothing to do with customer service, once the threat of the rail strike hit, it bottled up shipping all over the place.
There are union agreements that say who can/cannot pickup and deliver vehicles from a holding yard,..that's why dealers simply cant go get it...even if the dealer is...
Any particular reason, other than aesthetics, you went with the full bar and not just a nudge bar? Are you in cattle/deer country?...would be curious what kind of hit the bar could take to help save the front end.
I had an F150 where the seat bolster foam rolled over and flattened half the seat out. I took it to dealer since I was in warranty, they replaced the foam and fabric seat upholstery. If you see the bolster start to flatten out, you shouldn't have an issue getting the dealer to replace, if...
A coworker contacted local area dealers to see if they had any stock units on order and if they'd be open to earmarking it for him, they did and they let him add/change some of the options. He did this at the end of August and already has a build week for mid-October.
It could be worth the...
They want it for their new car lot, and since you've cancelled it, I'm assuming by email/text/or in writing, the dealer has the required documentation to show Ford when they are audited for name match verification %. Don't be surprised if you still get notifications from Ford about the progress...
Best advice I can give is, find a beach or gravel backroad and try out all of the options--2H, 4L and 4H so you know what each does. Then try it with lockers on, if you have them..remember to only use 4wd on a surface that will slip, dry hard pack surfaces will tear up the planetary gears if...
Depends on where you live and what conditions you learned to drive in...50 mph is usually my top on icy/slush cattle pathed conditions, 50-60 on packed snow.
I also priced Katzkins through my dealer and was in the same ballpark as the OP. I'd opted for 2 color leather, contrasting stitching, and perforated seat and wings. (these were their custom colors, not the 10 or so Bronco seats on their main page). They would ship to dealer, dealer sends...
I think the OP was asking HOW to install them to the switches, not if you can. Unfortunately I haven't installed any, so I can't answer their question as to HOW to install/wire them.
Did the OP stop at the dealership and ask? Seems logical to me to stop and ask, instead of just driving by, taking a couple of pics, and then posting so everyone could speculate.
Any vehicle purchased using A/X/Z/D plan pricing (with a PIN) are required to be titled in the purchasers name for a minimum of 6 months. If the dealer sold it at employee pricing, but didn't treat it as an actual A/X/Z/D plan sale, the person can do with it as they wish. Ford audits all true...
Just heard from my dealer that my Bronco was dropped off overnight, they're in the process of cleaning it up and doing the PDI!!--UPDATE--
It's in my driveway! Picked it up yesterday afternoon:
