Exactly what I have been looking for since I am considering the same tire size on aftermarket 18" wheels. Thanks for the front pics but I think most of us are interested in a side profile pic to see the "poke" of the tires outside of the fenders. We want to see if this setup slings mud/road...
We all hope you make the trip today and give us DM's some good news. FYI - I'm your production neighbor with 7/16 blend - 6493 rotation so say hello to my rig if you see it next to yours. No "4-rebill" change in my window sticker yet either.
OP has a soft top built just two weeks ago on 9/1. Why are you assuming it is still at MAP awaiting shipment?
I am pretty sure that when you get a delivery date estimate then it is in route right? Others who have received their rig maybe able to confirm.
You maybe in the hands of the rail...
Come on Eeyore! Don't rain on our parade. We have enough negative to go around and movement off of Dirt Mountain is the best news in awhile. "I told you so?" I don't think ANYONE of sound mind thought that MIC's would ship a couple of weeks ago. Seek out excuses to celebrate! I plan on...
For those who have not had a swing gate rear, I know that I have crushed my shins on my FJ when I forget that the hitch is installed. I'm thinking a stock type short receiver with removeable hitch extender or drop hitch is the way to go to clear the spare and save your shins when loading...
FYI - It looks like they have Fuel Rebel +20 offset in the 18" wheel (only +1 in the 17"). Definitely a possibility! Black, Bronze and Anthracite options.
I think I saw these 18" Fuel Rebels on an OB mannequin at Anderson (SC) Ford. I don't have details of backspace and it appears to be lifted. It looked awesome.
Consensus of the people that have done it is that absolutely, new speakers will be a very noticeable improvement. For $80/pair upgrading the 4" front dash seems like a no brainer. Common mid level choices are Kicker CS, JBL Club, Polk DB, JL C-1 and Infinity REF series. I bought some Polk's...
It is my firm belief that MIC 2.0 is complete and perfect. The first 2.0 tops are going to Dirt Mountain and my rig will be delivered to me this weekend. The old Dirt Mountain takeoff tops are going to the line for your September builds. It is only fair that you serve time on the Mt. awaiting...
So I am going down the rabbit hole of audio upgrades while I wait on Dirt Mountain. I tried to read all of the audio upgrade threads and came up with a few questions.
1) The Ranger forum talks about turning off the factory radio DSP using ForScan. Is that applicable for the Bronco base...
EXACTLY! I picked up my 2007 FJ for $19k when everything crashed in 2008 and put 200k trouble free miles on it. I have been looking for a replacement for 5 years...4runner, Jeep, Lexus GX...nope...I would rather drive the FJ. High hopes for the Bronco but the FJ has set a pretty high bar for...
For The Win - Try a rubber HORSE STALL MAT for the seat delete floor covering.
Horse Stall Mat
$49 - (3/4" x 6' x 4') in stock at most Tractor Supply stores
I have used these thick rubber horse stall mats for a lot of projects like work stations, truck and trailer beds. Just cut it down...
