Took it to the Ford Fast Lane, they tested the battery, said it could take up to an hour to run through all the tests. It took about 10 minutes, it had 0 cold crank amps, was supposed to have 800. Replaced under warranty. Hopefully it was just a bad battery.
As others have said in other posts, I got all manner of warning lights on restart, ABS, hill assist, parking break ect. They all cleared as I drove and the ECU cycled.
If it hadn’t been parked in my garage and had an incline then maybe. But I will say a jumper battery has saved my butt multiple times. I would’ve had to roll it out to jump it off, but with the battery pack, just connect it and it starts right up.
Came back from vacation after 2 weeks to a completely dead battery, had to unlock it with the key from the fob. Jumped it, let it run 15 minutes, drove it 2 miles to the store, dead again, jumped again, drove home, turned it off, wouldn’t restart. Jumped again later in the day, drove for...
Finally got an appointment to have my Bronco looked at. They said, "technician unable to replicate complaint" When I went to pick it up it was making the noise as soon as I started out of the parking lot. I went back in and had the tech ride with me, he said it was just the synchros and it was...
I called to get mine into get looked at. Their transmission person is so busy, first available appointment is May 31st. Doesn’t give me hope for a timely fix.
Mine is making the same grinding noise as everyone else’s. I’ve basically decided to just drive it until something breaks or Ford issues a recall with a fix/replacement. It’s my around town car so if something goes bad I can get it towed to my local dealer.
@raymondcielo Can you post the full itemized receipt from the dealer so we can see what all they replaced. Wondering if those couple of parts they were waiting on were the throw out bearing and clutch. Glad you got your truck back, hope everything is fixed for good.
My dealer wouldn't provide a purchase agreement, said that they couldn't until they had a VIN, then still didn't. They honored the original MSRP pricing we discussed and then even honored my Z plan. They seemed very confused when I asked for a signed agreement. I think it varies wildly from...
Only people that had originally ordered painted top and converted got the 200,000 points. I didn’t get any points for switching from MIC to soft and I switched by the deadline.
I definitely didn't get $1200 worth of FordPass points, I got the standard 42,000 points that anyone that links a car to FordPass gets. Went through my emails, looks like I was supposed to get another 20,000 points for waiting. I will contact ford customer service to see if I can get those.
I understand that I gained something by getting my Bronco early by switching to soft top, but Ford also got something out of the deal, they moved another Bronco when they were desperate to do so. I guess Ford installing the pre-wiring for a future hard top is the extent of help. Guess I'll be...
I did a search of the forum but didn't find anything. The hard top from Ford was $995 when I placed my Bronco order. I switched to soft top to get my Bronco sooner. Has Ford said anything about what they might do to help those of us who originally wanted a hard top once they get all the MIC top...
After talking with my buddy more, he thinks it is probably the throw out bearing. He initially thought it was lifters because his raptor’s lifters make a similar noise until warm. People saying they’re going to get rid of it, it shifts fine, just makes a little noise, it’s a truck. Maybe think...
