I usually break while driving through the urban areas. Also a break is good to take when you are around a 1/4 tank. Personally, I'm more of a break at half full kind of guy. Good luck with your breaks!

You have a badlands so best bet would be to close off the rear vents so water does not get in them. They are worthless and a liability left open. I remeber a guy who did a custom job with a 3d printer and brought them up to the center console. Might be an option.
