  1. Any ideas if the bronco will have issues when they first roll out?

If the bronco had a engine cover they would look very similar I would imagine.
  2. Any ideas if the bronco will have issues when they first roll out?

The Benz has an engine cover while the bronco at least as pictured doesn't.
  3. Dealer just requested another $400 to advance my reservation.

How are you going to handle the break in period. Might be easier to have it shipped from Stephens. Just my 2 cents.
  4. Granger and Stephens 1K under Invoice Deal

You've obviously dealt with this type of post before, I didn't see any on the search but I didn't look very long. I think it was a legitimate question, when only 2 dealerships in the country are offering it. But, another member educated me that with big launches like this it's not uncommon for...
  5. Granger and Stephens 1K under Invoice Deal

I'm not trying to tarnish anybody, I was asking a genuine question about what is holding them to the deal. I've gotten lots of answers, that was the point of me asking, so I could educate myself. I'm not trying to go against the spirit of the community, sorry if it came across that way. I've...
  6. Granger and Stephens 1K under Invoice Deal

Thank you for taking the time to explain your reasoning behind trusting these dealers. I've not followed another major launch like this before so all of this is new and I'm just trying to make sure I don't spend money I don't have to. Thanks again.
  7. Granger and Stephens 1K under Invoice Deal

Yes, I've seen all of that, none of that is legally binding, only a signed contract is.
  8. Granger and Stephens 1K under Invoice Deal

So, everyone says that Granger and Stephens are up front and transparent with their pricing and they appear to be just that. My question is even though they've posted what their plan is, none of it is binding. What keeps them from saying, "actually we aren't going to honor 1k under invoice"...
  9. Dealer just requested another $400 to advance my reservation.

Spoke with them today, they said, "We HOPE to sell at MSRP" but they couldn't/wouldn't guarantee it. You might want to look into moving.
  10. Dealer just requested another $400 to advance my reservation.

That and they wouldn't put that in writing, they HOPE to offer MSRP.
  11. Dealer just requested another $400 to advance my reservation.

I called and spoke with a manager at Ravenel Ford. He said that their paperwork said they had me down as having reserved a Bronco Sport. He said that once December comes and it's time to order they will request $400, they typically ask for $1000 for a build to insure they don't get stuck with...
  12. Dealer just requested another $400 to advance my reservation.

I posted the text they sent me above, they said they have my reservation down as a Bronco Sport. I highly doubt that Ford sent them the wrong reservation, and I know that I reserved the Bronco.
  13. Dealer just requested another $400 to advance my reservation.

Turns out they thought I had a Bronco Sport reservation, despite their email saying Bronco and a pic of the Bronco. Doesn't inspire confidence.
  14. Dealer just requested another $400 to advance my reservation.

They didn’t even include the attachment so ?
  15. Dealer just requested another $400 to advance my reservation.

Thanks to everyone that took the time to reply and educate me. It looks like the cost of shipping from from Stephens in WV might be worth it to do business with someone who appears to be transparent and competitive on their pricing. Thanks again everyone.
  16. Dealer just requested another $400 to advance my reservation.

Makes me wonder if they will be able to handle the volume.
  17. Dealer just requested another $400 to advance my reservation.

Has anyone else selected a dealer outside of their area because of pricing?
