Dating myself...but when I was growing up the county was collecting everybody's used oil. Then during the summer they spraying the oil on the dirt roads to keep down the dust.
Well, I don't have a Bronco...yet...but I've been a Wrangler owner for the past 30 years (ever since I got rid of the ride in my avatar), plus I've owned a Can-am for a while now so I feel qualified to add something to this discussion.

I DETEST black interiors....make me feel like I'm in a tomb. At my age I'll be in a tomb soon enough. A light colored interior makes the vehicle feel more roomy and adds loads of visibility when you are trying to find something you dropped.

Don't know why the Jeep's plastic roof should be any different from that on the Bronco.
I live in the high desert where the sun is a power to be reckoned with. My Rubicon came with a black top as do most Jeeps, and I got tired of having the inside of the top so hot it would darn near burn my...
The above ain't no joke. Know a guy who was sleeping in a canyon here in northern Nevada - just him rolled up in a bedroll. Middle of the night he rolls over and gets bit where neck and shoulder meet. Apparently a rattler had snuggled up to him to get warm and when he rolled over and onto the...
