  1. What rig / vehicle did you give up to get your Bronco?

ā€˜21 BMW M340 X Drive. Great car. I miss it when I hit a stretch of twisty blacktop.
  2. AOAA _ August 9th

My buddies were busting my balls when they saw the loppers in the back! Didn’t even have to bust them out at AOAA.
  3. Cost to add ARB rear locker

Although it’s my ā€˜74, four years ago I paid $2500 for gears front and rear and a Truetrac limited slip. At that time, add another $500 for the ARB. Again, four years ago.
  4. AOAA _ August 9th

I’ve hit AOAA a few times now. I lie that the trails seem to be wider than RC. Less pin stripes. I think they mark their trails well and it seems that a green trails a green trail and a blue is a blue. I’ve felt for some rookies I’ve seen out there driving greens at RC. Erosion has made many...
  5. Best shipping options for hard top?

Once had an early Bronco tub shipped. I hired a pallet company to make a pallet or it would’ve been destroyed. I’d be Leary of throwing cardboard and shrink wrap around it only. Fly out w a buddy, grab a Uhaul and bring it back?
  6. QUESTIONS ABOUT SIDE STEPS AND MUD FLAPS

I went with the Broflaps. I stalled them w the sliders on. Just reinstalled the running boards and no problems. Also wheeled with them. They’re flexible so they just bend over rocks and do right back afterwards.
  7. Introduction

Congrats on retirement and the new Bronco! Lots of helpful folks here. I went w the Broflap mud flaps. They work w both the ford rock rails and the running boards. I flip them out for wheeling. Have fun w your build.
  8. What's your dumbest Bronco "DUH" moment?

First time wheeling in 4 low, the camera came on. Cool, but I wanted to get back to On X. Radioed a friend w a 24 and said ā€œpress the camera button dumb ass.ā€
  9. From Wrangler to Bronco

Do it. Stop thinking about and do it. You’re right over the target w Base Squatch.
  10. Front Mud Flaps for 2024 Badlands 4 Dr w/Rock Rails

I recently installed the Broflaps mud flaps. Not a fan of mud flaps in general but these look good, installed easy and work. Now I hear rocks making muffled hits against the mud flaps. Wheeled with them yesterday. Flexible so they just went right back into place after contacting a rock...
  11. Who wants a Bronco refresh?

I’d like to see the center console lid be indexed, so it doesn’t want to immediately fall to the close position when you’re digging around for something. My biggest gripe!
  12. Broflaps installed today

Super simple installation. High quality flexible rubber material. I looks it can flex enough over rocks without having to remove them to wheel. I’m not a fan of flaps, but I couldn’t take hearing the rocks banging off my doors anymore. I’d recommend them.
  13. Well crap. This is an expensive fix

Found a use for those ā€œhooksā€ the other day. Slip a towel in there to protect the front seat backs from a bottle of propane.
  14. 2025 Badlands 7MT Arrived

Congrats on the new ride and your health. Go have some fun!
  15. Shop recommends BDS 3" Lift to go from SAS 35s to 37s, but is that enough?

Ha! I know how that feels. Owned my Badlands for about six weeks and have barely pulled the ā€˜74 early Bronco out of the garage.
  16. FINALLY A WIN FOR THE MIC TOP

Met a guy that does this for a living. Travels for 3-4 months a year to Australia chasing the storms and makes $250K-$300K. He pretty much shuts it down from there until he leaves again the following year.
  17. From Lurker to Bronco Owner – Finally Took the Leap!

Congrats! Built to wheel, do it!
