No way Jose. The driveability is huge different for manual transmission. Older 2.3 felt like a dog and easy stumble if not enough throttle. New 2.3 feels like v6, very peppy even without much throttle New 2.3 is almost like completely redesign engine.

I disagreed with your statement. Chinese made junk imitation parts. I went through countless of so called OEM supplier Chinese made parts. They simply ain't like real OEM parts not made in China Perhaps your musical instruments ain't subject to extreme temperature tests, so this made in China...

Typical Ford cam phaser issues. Try to dry crank the engine each time before full start the engine. Got to prime those junk cam phasers. I run motul and diesel oil for Ford engines with tendency of cam phaser issues.
