I believe once you get a VIN, it's too late to make changes. I also have a build week of 01/17/22 with the tow package. I called my salesman to clarify and he said it will be built with the tow package. I'm sure there will be delays...
I won't do any off-road mods to it...275R70s to replace the 255R75s, a window tint, license plate relocation bracket, stubby antennae, floor liners, and Katzkin leather if the roof doesn't leak :)
Congratulations! You have a great looking Bronco! I really like your color choice for the wheels. I'm happy for you. What brand of wheel, size, offset, color, etc. Are those 33s?
Iconic Silver was my second choice. Silver looks good and is so easy to take care of. But, I've had several silver/grayscale colors, so it was time for a change.
Yes, excess Bronco shopping can happen if you have too much time on your hands! I tested positive for Covid on Nov 15 after 3 vaccinations (Heart Transplant, 1998). I then got a transfusion of monoclonal antibodies, so it ended up more like a mild cold. I hope you recover quickly!
I ordered the Mid Package without Navigation and plan to use Google Maps through CarPlay. I've been using CarPlay/Google Maps in my Ranger (Sync 3) as a trial (it has built-in Nav). It works great and is always up-to-date! I would have never considered a vehicle without built-in Nav until I...
Mine was an April 2021 reservation. I recently got the VIN and estimated build week of Jan 17 '22. I'm hopeful for March 1, unless there are additional delays and constraints...
I'm 65 and I've wanted a 2 door from the start. Just my preference. I don't haul people or pets and I don't tow. But, the 4 door is more practical for many and without the 4 door sales, I doubt that there would be a 2 door offered. So, thank you 4 door brothers and sisters!
I'm not crazy about the BB wheels, but that's what I am getting. I do like that they match the roof and grille. I might swap them out later for some after-market wheels and larger tires, but that's not a priority for me.
I got an email stating my 2 door Big Bend was scheduled for production on January 17, 2022. I was surprised to say the least! I was late to the game with an April 2021 reservation, so I was anticipating a 12-18 month wait or longer. I mean there are early reservation holders that still do not...
I understand your dilemma. My original MY21 reservation was for a BL Lux for around $53K. I chose the BL because I liked the factory 33s, not because I am an off-roader. At the time, I didn't even know what a sway bar disconnect was used for. But, the production delays gave me time to...
Haha...You may be right! No doubt there is a lot of wealth on this site, but I suspect there is more debt. Whatever the case, the first liar doesn't have a chance on this forum :)
I have the 2.3L/10A in my Ranger and really like it. No issues (17,000 miles over 18 months) and my lifetime average mpg is 23.2, which has dropped a little with warm-ups and cool-downs. Also, I just did not want to spend the extra money for the V6.
