Since the Heritage has special seat covers, I imagine they already have those stockpiled. But who knows. I would PREFER the vinyl (esp with the molle backs!), but am not hopeful. Mine is not scheduled, so if it gets built, it will be a J2.
EDIT: The build and price still shows carpet/cloth...
A very honest sales rep/Bronco specialist I spoke with said that the difficulty in getting this cancel/in stock private offer applied in this situation is that the original dealer order has to be cancelled. Your first dealer has very little incentive to do that if you are not buying from them...
Having owned both base and mid (and driven lots of high/lux), the auto AC is inferior to the base/manual AC. It's just not a great unit if you've owned any sort of luxury car that has done it right. It doesn't give you any real control and has a mind of it's own. It's pretty sad that I was...
Yes, the factory wheels I've seen are made in China, and to a very low quality standard. Look up close at the finish and it's trash. The aluminum is also VERY soft, from experience. Anyone touting them as a high quality standard probably hasn't even touched them or nicer wheel options.
I think...
technically you can order the rear locker on the OBX without the 4a advanced transfer case, so you need to see if it says “advanced” in the body type As mentioned above. The VIN is also different for trucks equipped with it, but I don’t have those codes memorized.
4a is really undervalued...
I think most of the hesitation for end of Job 1 is based on the new Ranger coming out. It's not GOOD news for us. Especially Heritage folks. I'm still "unscheduled clean" as of 5 minutes ago but at some point I wouldn't be surprised to be balanced out. The question is, will Ford make a private...
This thread delivers.
I haven't had any glitter episodes, YET (my daughters are 5 and 7 and I am too cheap to buy a Bronco with MGV...also YET) but these things are pretty magical for picking up dog hair and would be worth a shot. You can get something similar at your local pet store as well.
Last November, sold my first one (black OBX softie, zero extra options) within 24 hours of listing it on marketplace. Bought it for 5k over MSRP, sold it 8k miles later for a lot more than that - to the same dealer I bought it from. Had another dealer and them out-bidding each other. The whole...
Got notice from my dealer (drink) that their regional rep said mine was about to get pulled for a VIN soon, estimated build date end of June. Movement in the right direction "should" imply some progress, but we'll see. Not gonna hold my breath.
They might be waiting to see what the Tacoma palette looks like before finalizing Ranger/Bronco choices. I think yellow splash, confirmed for the 24 Mustang, is a good bet. I’d love to see grabber blue. Agreed that that brown color is a good bet, but maybe on a new semi limited edition or short...
Love the 303, esp for interiors. Put some on my IAG mudflaps to see how it holds up for now. Likely going to go with cerakote instead of c4 on my sas flares, etc. as it is supposed to be more durable.
Undecided on MIC top, prolly going spray “ceramic” for now. Considering megs hybrid paint...
Awesome build, congrats! I often considered switching my red base squatch 2 door to a blue BD 2 door so I could get mid package and MGV!
Will be watching closely to see if any HE build dates pop up today. Not likely, but I haven't gotten an off-roadeo email YET today...
The window sticker is always going to show the MSRP at time of build, so yeah that's normal.
As to the price protection...everything is dumb, who knows, good luck. Ask your dealer to look in smart vincent for transition offers, private offers, etc.
My dealer screwed up my HE order in the...
