I would 100% buy one of these, but I think some of the issue is regulations, i.e. backup camera is required, so if there needs to be a screen in the dash, it might as well be multi purpose.

Hey, I did take off the plastic covers and had tape and paper covering most of the bumper and grille. I bought my paint from automotivetouchup.com and found the Grabber Blue color from Ford to match the Black Diamond blue.

Here's a picture of mine with a black and blue stripe. I haven't actually applied them yet. Still deciding. Most people I've shown like it.

I'm doing it in October, and staying with a friend and using Turo for the car. There were some hotels that were pretty reasonable though. Horseshoe Bay is ridiculous.

Does the shelf attach to the brackets that come with the side cargo molle panels? Or the molle panels themselves? I watched the install video for the cargo panel and it sounded like he said they attached to the brackets.

Have you looked at creating a shelf that works with 4-dr hard top/No top and doesn't need side panels?

Could this work as a security enclosure for 4-dr, if you have your stuff in something like a Pelican Case underneath? Seems like nobody could remove pelican case, or open the pelican case?

I also have the GPCA cover, and my issue is that it doesn't go all the way to the tailgate, there is about a 2-3 inch gap. Is that how yours fits?
