Hello! Looking for verification on adding the ford tow package to my 2022 Badlands. I am planning to buy an overland trailer in the near future and it comes with e-brakes and the 7Pin connection. I installed the ford hitch when I first brought the Bronco, but no 4 pin wiring as at that time, I...
That was my goal on my BL's (soft top)as I have a dual 8" down firing subwoofer on the back and the rattling on certain frequencies was a nuisance. To secure the sub in the back, I installed the Ford lid enclosure and it amplified the rattling as I expected. Installed the same killmat panels...
Around 1K does sounds reasonable for entry level speakers that will sound better than stock, but limited to what amplification you use. My system was 3.5K with mid level speakers and sounds great to me. Make sure that you ask what interface they are using to connect the amp to the radio.
I...
Or add Velcro to the light and posible mounting locations. That's how I added a glovebox light and trunk light for my metal cage. I used motion sensing usb lights from Amazon. The one in the trunk is wired to the USB port in the back and stays charged. The one in the glove box is swapped...
It all depends which way you are traveling. I usually use the earth rotation and wind direction when traveling. Heading west, gives me better gas mileage as the earth rotation acts like a treadmill, less drag on the Bronco. Now if there is a tailwind, better gas mileage is expected. Overall, I...
Remove the panel and play the same frequencies until you find the culprit. Then add more dynamat or anything that will make the part denser. If it is a panel, I will double the dynamat. I had the same issue with the tailgate and double it as much as I could, it reduced it but still there...
The same thing happened to me and my installer couldn't figure it out. It might have something to do with the line output converter. I used PAC LPA E-4 connecting the amp to the front, kick panels and a sub in the back. The rear pod speakers are powered by the head unit. I did not do any...
I misread the question. I used killmat on my kicker panels and it provided some improvement (tight mid bass) on my JL C3 separate. Next time I mess with them I am going to use some poly fill to see if it makes another difference.
Test the soundmat and see what happens. I think it will improve it.
There is some type of material that provides some sound deadening, but is not enough to make a difference in that location. I strongly recommend adding sound deadening material to any panel that you see. Vibrations will be reduced a lot, specially in very thin panels. The denser the panel, the...
It blends better when you look at it from the side, as you dont see the body color. On carbonized gray or Black broncos is not as pronounced. Used Rust Oleum truck bed liner paint. Lot less than what people had been using to achieve same look.
