I have an email, but I was originally a 12/5 build week.
Honestly, I would check with your dealer to make sure they put your email in WBDO with your Order. That's where it pulls the info from to send you an email with updates.
Fair enough. I'm not at the level where I can buy vehicles outright. However, based on the 2022 residuals, Aplan, etc, my payments for a lease *should* only be $450/month. A lot more digestible up front than $900-1,000 on a purchase. If I do decide to flip it, I can purchase it outright. Or if...
@RagnarKon Any word on '23 residual values? Similar to '22, lower, higher?
I'm highly considering leasing mine, as I know there is "supposed" to be a refresh in the next 2 years, and well, yeah.
I'll just say this: I worked for an OEM, directly with dealers. The truly honest dealer, and I mean TRULY honest dealer, was few and far between. They all told white lies, pulled fast ones, straight up lied, etc. It's not always all about the sale, as sometimes the truth is just unbelievable, or...
Love that you went out and got some scratches on the paint. No pavement princess there.
I don't have too many chances to scrape rocks here, but I am looking forward to the first, and hopefully only, pinstripe from the woods...
Good to know. I ordered the Dual Tops, so knowing it will fit in there to get it home is awesome. I was worried about having to have someone come with to get it in my truck. I was hoping to pick it up and not tell anyone, but surprise them when I roll up in style...
I mean, it really is all over. How quickly they move out of the plant holding lot, how far away you are. How the trains are running, or a convoy truck. How busy the holding lots are at the rail yards.... yada yada yada.
No problem, and thank you !
The webasto issue is, well, it was ongoing. There was actually discussion about bringing the full production process internal on the tops. As in Ford would be fully producing the tops, from molding, assembly, etc. But it's not just quality issues, which were ongoing...
Apologies, I don't know that for sure. I was laid off on August 22, so anything that has happened beyond that I don't have intimate knowledge of.
I do know that prior to that, they had constraints on the 2 door for several reasons.
1) The take rate was not where they thought it was going to...
Ummm... You literally told me exactly why it DID roll down. As mentioned, it's ALL new options, including paint. It was Azure Grey, which is, I believe, a new color this year. Right?
Also, they will take MPI/Preproduction units and put them into corporate service. This could be vehicles used...
Prior to job 1 during a model year change over you have MPI units. These are like preproduction but they are building every “possible” combo they couldn’t before. Just to ensure everything goes together properly. I say possible, as they will bundle options together to cut down on the number of...
Bwahaha, so true. My GF asked if she could be the first to drive it (being built next month), then even offered to give me $500 if she could drive it first, and have it for a few days. I had to laugh.
So, what can I buy for the bronco with $500? j/k. I'll let her drive it here and there...
40. 4 Door WildTrak. For me, it was about comfort, being able to put stuff in the back seat easily. I also have an S.O. with two young kids still in car seats. I ain't about to mess with that in a 2 door.
Also, ride quality, stability, etc, and being able to put doors in the back if I choose. I...
LOL. I worked AT Ford until I was laid off on 8/22. I am intimately aware of the Bronco fiasco from inside the Beast itself. The things I know or have seen....
