The more the merrier!
The moral of the story of this thread is, the more you're spending on your Bronco, the more losing X-plan hurts because the percentage saved over MSRP goes up with every added option.
The only deals that make sense to my mathematically inclined brain are all the deals...
Well, I'm on track to pay off my 30 year mortgage in 11 years. Maybe I want my car's financing terms to match. :geek:
(Seriously, will keep my car loan at 48 months or less, especially assuming some 0.9% or 1.9% financing)

I suppose after looking at it again, it does become a little ambiguous. I for sure found 2.95% @ 72 months at Aurora Federal Credit Union (and down to 2.85% if you put 10% down).
Navy Federal, if you can qualify to be a member is 2.29% for 72 months. It does go up to 4.69% for 84 months.
Chris
For what it's worth, Metrum Community Credit Union in Denver offers 2.89% for up to 84 months. I went down the credit union rabbit hole the other day and posted in the CO Granger thread.

With the range on the base '24 base model, I don't even think I could get from the eastern 'burbs of Denver to the mountains and back on a charge. And I'd get to pay $30K more than my Bronco. Yeesh.
Chris
The people who say X-plan is only saving $300 aren't adding any options or packages to their trucks.
Using the survey pricing, my projected build (4-door, 2.7 Squatched Badlands, Luxe Package, MIC top, towing package) goes from $60,530 (using a $650 Colorado doc fee) to $55,969, a savings of...
Well played. We, as the consumer, will determine the price of our trucks!! Supply, yes, mandates demand. But by moving to those dealerships that "get it", we will control pricing to some degree.
Chris
That's where I differ with your opinion. Not trying to get this political by any means, but the power is the hands of the masses. If a company does something we don't like, we, as a whole, don't buy from them. One individual has some power, but has a ton more when in connection with like...
No, but in my case with a 9/12 reservation and a 10/1, I have a $700 difference. If I have to wait six months to build and price my '22 and it goes up $400? Then I'm only saving $300 for a headache and will stick with my original reservation. At least I have options.
Chris
Well, as someone who's currently holding a 9/12 and a 10/1 reservation at Granger, it looks like I'll take a look when B&P comes out and see which one makes more financial sense. If the prices go up for 2022 and/or I can't build my 10/1 reservation right away, then I might just stick with the...
Neither. Build and price to play around. When it comes time to order from your dealership, you'll pick which trim you want. No reservation change required.
Chris
Originally I was in the "Luxe is overpriced" camp. Then I started thinking that I wouldn't have to bother hiding away my phone charger and garage door opener every single time I parked the truck without the top on. For me, the Luxe package isn't exactly Luxury, more Convenience (especially...
Couldn't recommend this book more highly. I just ordered another copy as I had lent one to a friend and never gotten it back. There's also another one just for Northern Colorado (considered anything north of I-70).
