  1. Installing Rear Fog/Chase Light Using Factory Switch & Harness

Short Answer you could. The blu/wht Wire is in the body harness all the way to the rear DS corner of the vehicle at which point it ends in the connector (C424). you can tap into it there Or you can add the G Harness which extends the BLU/wht wire to the middle of the rear bumper (C436). So...
  2. Installing Rear Fog/Chase Light Using Factory Switch & Harness

None of the trucks in North America Come with one. you can verify by either looking at the Driver side harness connector for the blu/wht wire. you can also look above the hitch (or where the hitch would) be for a small connector. but unless you have a factory Rear fog you do not have the G Harness.
  3. Installing Rear Fog/Chase Light Using Factory Switch & Harness

It really depends on your application. It is 18 GA wire so you are limited in how much current you can pull. I have the Rigid SR-Q Low beams (2) tied to the factory wiring and have had no issues. one could probably get away with 5 amps of draw, but its very situational.
  4. Installing Rear Fog/Chase Light Using Factory Switch & Harness

The Rear Config is almost the same as the front just another DID, I found this on another thread. as for the harness it replaces the factory harness for the bumper (not the tail light). the body harness to the rear is wired (at least on mine it is) to connector C424. I suppose one could add a...
  5. Installing Rear Fog/Chase Light Using Factory Switch & Harness

I did my rear fog install today. I installed the factory Rear Fog Harness (M2DZ-15K868-G*) in the bumper. I also installed the Front/Rear fog switch (M2DZ-11654-CB) in the dash. To connect to the rear circuit I crimped on a 2 pin Deutsch connector and built a harness to distribute to the...
  6. Installing Rear Fog/Chase Light Using Factory Switch & Harness

Yeah I just cut off the factory piece and crimped on a Deutsch Connector.
  7. Installing Rear Fog/Chase Light Using Factory Switch & Harness

These do not work I purchased these from my front fogs and tried the connector is not the same. I would be willing to send the connector I cut off to someone who makes harnesses to help find a correct one though.
  8. Installing Rear Fog/Chase Light Using Factory Switch & Harness

I have not, from all of my research, it would involve commissioning a custom connector. the connector seems to be only designed to for direct connection to a module (or light in this case).
  9. Installing Rear Fog/Chase Light Using Factory Switch & Harness

The connector it located just above the hitch behind the bumper. But it is only there if you have a rear fog lamps, or have the M2DZ-15K868-G* Harness installed. my truck did not have the connector from factory. The rear fog leg is teed off of the middle-left park sensor wire. I took a few...
  10. Installing Rear Fog/Chase Light Using Factory Switch & Harness

Jumping in head first here. I installed the rear harness dual fog switch last week. As I had to have the bumper off anyway. I have been searching high and low for a connector that goes into the factory plug. so far I have found that the vehicle side is the same as WPT-1548 I believe...
