I would get a custom plate, but my current plate is one of the Rocky Mountain National Park plates and if you do a custom, the elk and the flower in the middle goes away. I personally think this one of the coolest plates in the U.S.

I get that it's not only about the engine, but it's crazy that they're still listing the 2.7's towing capacity for the Bronco at 3,500 lbs. while the F-150 with the same engine is 10,100 lbs.

I guess I don't know who the "rumor mill" is, but when I ask someone a question that has already earned trust, I'm going to respect the answer. Albert said they wouldn't, so they're not going to. Especially I wouldn't think that they would require reservations from forum members as we are...
Albert has stated in multiple threads that they will not. When I switched my reservation over to him, I got my $100 refunded and I asked if he wanted to charge me $100 for it and he said no. Granger isn't going to surprise us with any fees, hence why a good chunk of us are going with them.

I'm going to keep updating the spreadsheet out here just so everyone else knows how awesome the Colorado group is. :)

Any way you can make it so that the Sasquatch is discounted to $2,500 and $4,500 for the BL and BD respectively? I was wondering why this was coming out so much higher than the other survey pricing spreadsheet I had used.
Chris
Hey, he was the one that used the word "nitpick" first for a $5 delta. Mine was ~$50. ;)
But seriously, I do think some people don't think about the tax when estimating the cost. If someone paid MSRP vs. what I'm going to pay, the difference tax alone is almost $300, so half a car...
I had a 9/12 reservation with Granger anyway. I feel like if I re-reserve on 10/1, I'm only backing myself up a couple weeks maybe and saving ~$660 for the trouble.
Chris
I disagree. The demand is still going to be very high and given the popularity of the car, I don't think it's unreasonable to assume that most dealerships won't have a ton at any given time and they'll sell very quickly.
You're off by a factor of 10. 55 per store with that math.
There's a...
And then not to nitpick you, but also include sales tax on your savings then too. Here in my hometown with 8% tax, that's an additional $49.20 for a total savings of $664.20.
We all assume that dealer stock is coming after all reservations are done. The big dealers were just going to get more of their reservations delivered first. If Granger gets an overall larger piece of the pie, despite being a smaller dealer, it will somewhat offset it.
Think of it this way...
I view it quite differently. I also currently have a Granger reservation, albeit a late one. I wasn't planning on really having a chance to get the truck before spring of 2022 anyway. I felt bad for those that had made 7/13-7/20 reservations at Granger knowing that when Ford just changed the...
This is all people who have posted in this thread that they have ordered from Granger (or planned to switch the next morning or something similar). I believe everyone was from Colorado except for two, one from AZ and one from NM?
Chris
I figured I didn't have everyone as I'm sure there are some that have switched but haven't posted to this thread indicating as such. I'll work on getting them all.
Come on Colorado. We can beat Iowa! We have 83% more people than they do!
