Just to be clear, this is for the rear flaps on the steel bumper? Nothing needs to be trimmed from the rears to work on the OBX plastic bumper.
Nice to see it’s not too hard to make them work on the steel bumper for people with that configuration.
After you have it in front of you I think you’ll also decide to measure 31.5 times and still cut 31.5 times. More like shaving than cutting. Unless you have an AutoCAD brain, which I do not.
There’s just no way to measure all the arcs/angles you need to cut and even though there’s 2 static...
I did remove it but on the OBX with plastic rear bumper it is actually just a tiny flat piece of plastic screwed into the bumper, not a molded piece that follows lines. I threw it away and didn’t grab a picture, oops. The 3 screw holes it left are the ones I re-drilled the flap to line up with.
The fronts should be exactly the same. The rears will go on but the Badlands steel bumper has different lines so there will be a gap. I believe there are pics in a thread of someone that tried to fit them and they very noticeably do not look right.
I followed the thread where someone trimmed the flaps to fit their rock rails and figured it would work on the steps too. Apologies in advance because I didn’t plan on making a post so the pics are all after installing.
It’s not complicated. Just measure/template over and over and over before...
I installed the Ford molded flaps on our OBX Squatch but didn’t want to deal with moving the steps so cut them to fit over the step and along the flares. I was following a post where someone did the same thing for rock rails.
If you’re careful and trim multiple times you can get it to fit...
She let me drive it once already and she’s not too possessive so I’m sure I’ll get my opportunities but it’s definitely hers
Nice color choice, I personally would have seriously considered red but she isn’t a fan of red vehicles so it was never in the running. Fingers crossed for you to get a...

Based on build and options constraints I’m guessing this is still a bit of a unicorn in the wild.
