I think the dealer is offering for you to put your name on a stock unit so you can be first in line to buy it when it comes in. I’m guessing it’s a 4 door soft top, my dealer has seen at least 5 stock units come in, they don’t last long. All of them 4 door softies

Anybody had their tracker revert from “in transit” back to “awaiting shipment”? Mine was showing shipped on Monday, but there wasn’t a check mark in the box on the pizza tracker and no shipment date on aem. ETA dates didn’t change but trackers went back to awaiting shipment today

I wouldn’t care if people stared/took pictures, but most of the time I don’t feel like dealing with people in general, so they’d have to catch me at the right time for me to want to talk to them about it. I agree with keeping distance though, don’t peer in through the glass or touch it.

I don’t think they ended MY21 scheduling so much as they completed it. The airbag recall only affected ~500 units built in July/Aug. Hopefully once all the built units have received new tops and MY22 production begins we will start to see a proper full speed ramp up

Fasted I ever did was 170kph (105mph) in a VW Jetta TDI (lol). I had my F150 up to 160kph on a couple occasions. Nowhere close to what others have posted, but I’m still young so plenty of time to set some new land speed records haha

Leave the soft top flipped back and/or a window rolled down? I guess that could work if it’s not raining. Otherwise don’t leave anything laying around in plain sight, thieves tend to go for easy stuff and they probably won’t bother cutting your soft top if they can’t see anything to steal

I was thinking about it the other day, if my DM build was held up for the airbag recall as well, I’d rather it be at the dealership than at MAP waiting for a replacement. At least that way I can obsessively go and look at my truck on a daily basis, instead of it being 2500 miles away
