  1. Is anyone else considering a Bronco that is overkill for your daily use...but looks so cool you want to buy it anyway?

I contributed to this thread, so wanted to post in it again. I have been lurking since before the reveal. Placed deposit week or two after reveal (wasn’t sure bronco was for me). Was really pumped from July to about October. The slow roll out of build & price worried me that it would be a year...
  2. Is anyone else considering a Bronco that is overkill for your daily use...but looks so cool you want to buy it anyway?

I am in a similar boat. My build is $55k. I drive 80 highway miles Monday-Friday. I am going to spend $50-60k on something, and I have wondered whether the bronco is the best vehicle in this price range for what I need to do. My wife has a newer navigator, and I have a 2018 traverse. I have...
  3. 2021 Bronco NOT Eligible For X-Plan (Official Document Confirmation) [Update: Confirmed by Ford]

Posting to add to the total. I have read through 10 or so pages. I was planning on using X plan through stock ownership program. X Plan was going to let me buy from a local dealer and not have to mess with haggling. I am 180 miles from Granger, but didn't want to mess with the hassle of out...
  4. Is the Bronco wrong for me?

The Granger "$2k off invoice deal" saves you $3,500 from MSRP. I was planning on saving $1,500 off MSRP. So now, some of us may have to pay full MSRP. At that point, I have some pause because it just doesn't feel good. There are other vehicles to consider.
  5. Is the Bronco wrong for me?

Granger and the likes are much better deals. My concern with Granger is that they aren't going to be able to keep up. It will be interesting to watch. For me, I would be happy to pay at invoice, which would be an easy $1,500 savings from MSRP on a 4 door Wildtrak. The best deal is for sure...
  6. Is the Bronco wrong for me?

Ford: (Dealer Invoice Price) - (0.4% * Dealer Invoice Price) + ($275 Administration Fee) = X-Plan Price It was just going to be a simple way of buying without having to haggle or shop around. Taking it away is going to allow most dealers to sell at MSRP (some may even markup). I was eligible...
  7. Is the Bronco wrong for me?

I am 180 miles from Granger, so I keep thinking about switching. I am worried that they aren't going to be able to keep up. I can get within $2-3k of their deal, I will just buy local and hopefully be able to get it sooner. Who knows? Taking away X-Plan just leaves me with a sour taste...
  8. Is the Bronco wrong for me?

OP here. Do you haul all that stuff inside the Crosstrek? I used to haul material inside Explorers, and then I realized that they would be projectiles if I got in an accident. I switched to trucks until I no longer needed to carry materials. I don't really need to haul materials, but I do...
  9. Is the Bronco wrong for me?

Thanks for your input. I want something more exciting than just a practical SUV or car. I was having cold feet, but there have been some really good thoughts. Probably the best advice I have gotten so far relates to "what can I put up with". I can put up with a rough ride and road noise. I...
  10. Is the Bronco wrong for me?

Reservation was on 8/6. With my local dealer that I buy 3-5 vehicles a year from (for work). Hoping that garners me some preference.
  11. Is the Bronco wrong for me?

Good points. People keep responding with boring cars to buy. I don't want a Camry or a Rav4. I am trying to get out of a situation where I hate my car. I am going to be the only one in my car for a majority of the time. I can put up with road noise, rough ride, etc. My wife has a 2019...
  12. Is the Bronco wrong for me?

I have been doing it for about 10 years. I am one of the business owners, and we moved the business 4 years ago and I didn't move it closer. Then I personally moved 2 years ago, and didn't move closer. I am an idiot, but it is hard to move too far from the places you know (both home and...
  13. Is the Bronco wrong for me?

I need Lux package if that is the only way to get adaptive cruise.
  14. Is the Bronco wrong for me?

My wife was super excited when I said I liked the Bronco because she hates the look of the Cybertruck. And personally, I don't want a long and big vehicle like a Cybertruck. All these comments are helping a lot. Thanks. I am sure there are others that are second guessing as order date is...
  15. Is the Bronco wrong for me?

Second day on Cybertruck and early August on Bronco. I was so sure on Cybertruck, which is why it took me a little time to consider the Bronco. I have 100k miles on my current SUV, and would really like to buy something next year.
  16. Is the Bronco wrong for me?

I had initially placed a deposit on a Cybertruck, but they still have to build the plant for that so who knows when it will be out. The electric f-150 is going to be way more expensive. I need to think a lot about this. I may have to buy something to gap me between my current SUV and...
  17. Is the Bronco wrong for me?

I currently have a boring 7 passenger SUV that I drive for work. I drive 80 mile round trip for work (easy traffic, mostly highway). I need the capability of an SUV to visit construction jobsites. Traditionally, I had driven trucks, but didn't need the truck bed. I still have a truck too, and...
  18. Show of hands. Who’s going Mansquatch or not? Vote in poll

Uber is safer than my wife that doesn’t drink? How do you figure? I get to choose what vehicle we are in, and I get to choose my driver.
  19. Show of hands. Who’s going Mansquatch or not? Vote in poll

This is going to be my daily driver. I’d love a manual, but I also like to drink. If I have a manual, it means that I can’t have my wife drive us home. Which means I can’t drink very much. I know my wife won’t want to learn to drive a manual, so I’ll stick with buying an auto.
