Glass windows not a good idea for a soft top as it would need reinforcing around the Windows(motor for the rear window) due to wieght More cost added to the soft top and even if you could fold the glass sides into the bed why would you want glass in the bed area.

I am pretty sure the waterpump will be replaceble although that would not be cheap to do depending on who does it but they do normally last a good while .

If it last 20 years and you have keep it that long then I would say that's damn pretty good for reliable as it would be same again before replaceing it again
